You Must Know: For The Foxes
By CHRIS FLECK
August 16, 2012
I get a lot of advance records. I'm not trying to brag (okay, maybe a little), but believe me when I say that the majority of them aren't very good. When The Revolution, the debut effort of New Jersey rockers For The Foxes, came across my desk I was skeptical, but after a few spins on the old Discman, I knew they had created something special.
Their brand of rock is a clever mix of dance-y indie rock, pop and punk which gives it the versatility to be rocking', melodic and worthy of a sing-a-long, all at the same time.
Front man and all-around nice-guy, Nick Dungo, happened to be in town last week and I was able to snag him for a quick Q&A and performance. Off-camera, we talked about his crush on Nolan-darling Marion Cotillard as well as my complex feelings for John Stamos. I promise the on-camera stuff to be just as entertaining.
Check out this video of Nick performing a special acoustic version of Moonlight Ride as well as the two of us talking shop!
