Chris Brown Says 'Don't Judge Me'

"I don't wanna go there," is how Chris Brown begins his song Don't Judge Me, premiering the video for the ballad on Thursday.
It's been a few years since Brown brutally assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards, and though she may be over it, the R&B singer seems to be well aware that a lot of music fans are not.
In the video, we see a more somber Brown, a refreshing change from his quarterly Twitter rants, who takes on the role of a military man. "You're hearing rumors about me. ... I can't deny what they're saying because most of it is true," the controversial musician, 23, sings as the video goes between scenes of Brown in a war zone and then in a room sitting in front of a girl sleeping on a small couch.
"Can we change this subject?" he sings, while decked out in his Black Pyramid clothing. Towards the end of the video, it's revealed that Brown is going on a "suicide mission" for "his country" in space, a mission he doesn't seem to survive as his spaceship explodes outside of Earth.
The video then concludes with a retrospect shot of a topless female somberly straddling Brown on the aforementioned small couch.
Lots to see here! What do you think of Brown's new video? You be the judge.
