A decadent mix of bold colors, and bolder outfits, Your Body features Christina as a naughty girl who all-but-devours her leading lad. "I worked with [director] Melina Matsoukas, who I was very drawn to because of her work in other videos (Rihanna's We Found Love, Beyonce's Why Don't You Love Me, Jennifer Lopez's I'm Into You)," Christina told MTV News. "She really caught a character and had a story to tell [without] using a lot of background dancers or gimmicks."

"Once she heard Your Body, she spun it in a way you wouldn't expect at all. I get to play this character, she may be a bit of a badass, she's confident, self-assured, but she's super playful and super tongue in cheek, -- she laughs the whole way through the video, she's watching cartoons, she doesn't take herself so seriously [and] I don't think I've ever done a video using so much color and freedom and fun. There's some unexpected twists and turns but it's really done in a playful way. I had so much fun playing that character!"
