Adele Confirms 'Skyfall' Song (LISTEN)

For the first time since her album 21 dropped, Adele is recording a new song.
The Grammy winner has been rumored to be singing the theme song for Skyfall, the newest James Bond movie installment, and on Monday, she confirmed the highly anticipated track by teasing the cover of the musical project.

The song will be arranged by British music producer Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, Cee Lo Green, Florence and the Machine) and composer J.A.C. Redford.
Skyfall, the 23rd movie in the beloved spy series, will once again star Daniel Craig and follows Bond as his loyalty to M (Dame Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. The film is set to hit theaters in the U.S. Nov. 9, 2012.
Adele, 24, follows a long line of acclaimed musicians to have performed past Bond theme songs, including: Paul McCartney, Carly Simon and Duran Duran.
The song Skyfall is to premiere on Adele.TV on Friday, Oct. 5. Listen to a sample of the song below:
