The X Factor season one winner Melanie Amaro is giving TheInsider.com a behind the scenes look at her first ever music video Don't Fail Me Now, where the winner of the largest price in television history (a $5 million Sony Music recording deal) reflects back on how her life has changed since winning the show last December.

"My life has changed now because I walk down the street, [and] it's like, 'Oh my God, you're Melanie Amaro' -- I went from me just going to school and being a normal girl that nobody ever recognized or paid attention to, to you know, everyone just ... they know who I am now. I get approached every day, and everyone's very nice," she smiles.

She also explains the meaning behind the catchy single Don't Fail Me Now.

"The song Don't Fail Me Now definitely describes the journey that I've had through life, and throughout X Factor, the determination of my feet that they just can't fail me -- I gotta get to where I need to be," she says.
