Southern Air is the best album Yellowcard has ever released. It's better than the record that made them famous, and it's better than anything that came in the years in between. The fact that they have had a 10-year career, both on major labels and off, and were able to debut Southern Air at #10 on the Billboard chart is proof of how great this record is, and how loyal their fan base has been. It’s rare these days that any band has such staying power without radio support or a huge recording contract that pushes them to the frontlines.

The first single from Southern Air is Here I Am Alive and the video for the song includes an appearance by another one of my favorites, Tay Jardine from We Are The In Crowd.
