Artist You Should Know: for KING & COUNTRY
Sometimes I love my bands to be ultra-sleek and glittery like they were at last nights American Music Awards, but most of the time, I like my bands to wear skinny jeans, combat boots and just play awesome music, without all the fuss. Lucky for me, and you, I have a really fun interview and Soundcheck session with one of my favorite new finds.
For KING & COUNTRY is a band created by brothers Luke and Joel Smallbone. They were born in Australia, to a record promoter father, who then moved the family to the United States. The current Nashville-ians have even been called Australia's answer to Coldplay (whoa!)
Their 2012 release, Crave, found it's way onto the Billboard Top 200, and this fall the band has been on The Proof of Your Love Tour with Jason Castro and Dara Maclean. I think this band is totally someone to watch in the next year, and I got to sit down and chat with them about their awesome sound!
