I skimmed the reasons why my friend thought I would love her, and a name struck me, Sam Farrar. Being one of those uber-nerds that stood outside and tried to sneak into Phantom Planet shows, the idea that Sam would come to visit me, was very exciting.

The problem with this musical story is that I sort of already knew all about Jasmine Ash. I had been hearing her sweet little voice for years on my favorite TV shows and in massive campaigns for brands like Apple and Nissan. Note: You have too!

Jasmine is like a little, special ball of indie perfection. She has the sweetest voice and the face of a cherub. It's impossible not to love her and want to be her best friend and raid her closet all within the first five minutes of meeting her. Her collaborators Jacques Brautbar and, of course, Sam Farrar have created magical music together. Their latest song Starlight is delicious, and comes with one of the most unique music videos of the year!
