In perhaps slightly happier times before their separation, David Arquette and Courteney Cox shared a laugh on the set of 'Scream 4' as fake blood-splattered Courteney wondered how best to react to a knife-wielding maniac's attack.
"[Director Wes Craven has] done so many scary movies, and I'll say, 'Wes, now what do you think? How would I react if someone came up behind me with a knife, and they stabbed me?'" says Courteney. "And he's like, 'You know, Courteney, it's never happened to me.'"
This comment cracks David up, and Courteney continues, "I'm just thinking, 'Okay, well, what about the 80 movies that you've made? How did it go with those people?' [Wes is] just funny, really funny."
"It's fun working with Courteney and David -- I think they're hilarious together," says co-star Neve Campbell. "Their characters are sweet and wonderful and funny in a lot of ways."
In theaters April 15, 'Scream 4' finds Sidney Prescott (Neve) haunted by the endless 'Stab' sequels being cranked out by Hollywood based on her horrendous past. Although it's been 11 years since she was last attacked by the killer Ghostface, she's trying to erase her reputation as a victim by becoming an acclaimed author. Of course, as soon as Sidney's begun pulling her life back together, Ghostface has decided to make a return appearance, and it's time for her to confront him again. Meanwhile, Gale Weathers (Courteney) has given up her job as a reporter to marry Deputy Dewey (played by David) and write a number of Stab books, but she's got some serious writer's block. Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Adam Brody and Anthony Anderson also star.
"Life's dull, and then some murders happen and it just reignites everything about her, she's excited," says Courteney about her character. "We had such a great time making the first three ['Scream' movies], and I think it's been long enough to where the people want to see what happened."
"Coming back the first day, I was just very excited to see everyone; I was really psyched to see Courteney and David and Wes and the crew, and we're very much like a family now," says Neve. "Sidney, Gale, Dewey, I think they're characters that audiences are fond of and we are fond of."
"If you liked the other Screams, this is going to be a great one," says David. "It's like a return to the first."

Hip-hop group Far East Movement made a surprise visit to Franklin High School in Los Angeles on Monday, March 21 and performed their hit songs "Like A G6" and "Rocketeer."
The group, consisting of members J-splif, Kev Nish, Prohgress, and DJ Virman, recently completed a tour with Rihanna in Australia and their own headlining tour in South East Asia.
On returning back to their hometown of Los Angeles, Kev Nish says, "It feels amazing to be back home so to come home, take a break, to get some good sun, good food and just to see our family and come out to a hometown crowd it means a lot to us. It's a good chance to kind of re-energize, refocus and get what we need, get that inspiration that we need to get back on the road."
The band stopped at Franklin High School to promote the new Adidas Originals game face competition where people can upload a photo of their game face to facebook.com/adidasOriginals.
Kev Nish says, "We are here for a concert back in L.A., our hometown, at Franklin High School to perform for a crowd of amazing high school kids for a chance for them to see our game faces and for us to see their game faces."
The selected winners will make it into a special Adidas commercial which will premiere at the MTV Movie Awards on June 5, 2011.
Two brides, two grooms, two lavish weddings, and a whole lot of planning to go. That's the case with BFFs Niecy Nash and Sherri Shepherd, who will serve as bridesmaids in one another's upcoming nuptials.
At her Glamtastic bridal shower over the weekend, Niecy confessed she has yet to choose a bridal gown to accentuate the jiggly bits she made famous on "Dancing with the Stars." "I don't know how many dresses I might wear," the soon-to-be Mrs. admitted. "Three, maybe four." Also on the lengthy to-do list is booking a honeymoon. She wants "to work on my tan and snorkel" on her romantic getaway.
Niecy wouldn't mind the royal treatment for her big day. "I don't know if Kate Middleton is finished working with her people to get her together, but maybe she can let me borrow so they can get me together," she said in hopes of enlisting extra help.
A tinge of jealously sealed the deal between Niecy and fiancé Jay Tucker. "When Jay and I first met I didn't know he was the man I was going to marry until I saw him talking to another girl," she said. The happy couple also played the role of matchmakers for bride-to-be Sherri of "The View."
"The Talk"'s Holly Robinson Peete believes "everything is just aligned for this union" between Niecy and Jay. Sherri agrees that the groom "compliments" her girlfriend. Niecy lit up at the end of her shower when her fiancé surprised her with a large bouquet of roses.
The beautiful grounds of a lush Los Angeles mansion hosted the bridal bash with flowers provided by Eddie Zaratsian. Niecy and Jay's wedding will be broadcast in a TLC special shortly after the May affair.
If Chris Brown is trying to show the world that he's getting over his anger issues, this is not the way to go.
The R&B artist came on to "Good Morning America" to perform and promote his new album F.A.M.E., but grew agitated with "GMA" co-anchor Robin Roberts when their conversation gravitated towards his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown was charged in 2009 with felony assault after an altercation with Rihanna, and was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service. In February, his probation was reduced to a restraining order that states he is not allowed within 10 yards of his ex.
When asked if he'd seen Rihanna since the sentencing downgrade, Brown attempted to try to turn the interview back to his music, saying, "I mean, not really. It's not really a big deal to me now as far as that situation. I think I'm past that in my life. I think today's the album day so that's what I'm focused on. Everybody go get that album."
Following the chat, Brown performed his song "Yeah 3x," and "GMA" reports that following the song, he stormed offstage to his dressing room. Moments later Brown was seen coming back down the hall with his shirt off to approach the person who produced his segment. "GMA" says that their hair and makeup people grew concerned after hearing loud noises and contacted security.
After he had left, it was discovered that Brown's dressing room window had been smashed and according to "GMA" was "strewn across the street below." Roberts tweeted following the incident, writing: "Sure has been an interesting AM @GMA. Still sorting thru everything myself. Just my 2nd day on twitter, wonder what tomorrow will bring?"
A long way from singing and dancing in a "High School Musical," Vanessa Hudgens now wields a machine gun in her new action-fantasy 'Sucker Punch,' in theaters Friday, and she tells "The Insider," "[I was] doing things I thought I'd never do in my life."
"I mean, I have a Tomahawk fight sequence; it's crazy," says Vanessa. "And to be able to work with such strong young women who have such a strong sense of who they are, and to work with [director Zack Snyder], [it's great] just to have all these new experiences in fantasies, which means there are no limits."
"It was pretty crazy," says the film's focal point, Emily Browning (all grown up since 'Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events'). "We trained five days a week for three months, and it was pretty mental. We did three hours of martial arts in the morning, and then we would do strength training for a couple of hours afterwards, and sometimes gun training and wire stunt work and everything. Yeah, it was pretty hardcore, but I think it was really necessary to properly get into these characters."
The new action fantasy casts Emily as Babydoll, a young woman incarcerated in an institution by her wicked stepfather. In order to cope, she taps her vivid imagination in order to escape the tortured realities of her life, making her way through a vibrant world filled with fire-breathing dragons, machine gun-toting Samurais and vintage World War I perils. Vanessa, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung and Jena Malone fight by her side in an effort to evade their captors (including Carla Gugino and "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm).
"We're like in the middle of all these crazy worlds, and it's like girls, girls, girls, and all of a sudden it's like, 'Jon Hamm's here?'" says Jena. "He's a great guy. He's a really great actor."
"But there's something shocking and stunning about him," observes Jamie. "I can't really explain it in words."
"He's really handsome," offers Jena. Jamie gushes with a big smile and responds, "Yeah."

After Kirstie Alley's stellar performance on the season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars," "The Insider" correspondent Christina McLarty broke the news to Kirstie that her Twitter account had been hijacked - in a good way.
Kirstie's good buddy Kelly Preston took to Kirstie's Twitter account on Monday night, helping her friend garner votes for her first "Dancing with the Stars" competition.
"Hi! This is Kelly Preston I've confiscated [Kirstie Alley's] Twitter to remind you to call 1800 868 3411 to vote," Kelly tweeted. "Woohoo Kirstie rocks vote 8pm-1030pm!"
"That's sweet!" Kirstie gushed, when Christina showed her the message. "I didn't even know she was doing that."
Ralph Macchio, who topped the "Dancing" scoreboard on Monday, started the night with humble ambitions.
"I was hoping to be in the upper half of the whole group," said Ralph. "But this was like, 'Wow!'"
Kendra Wilkinson wasn't as happy with her first dance, saying, "I feel like I could've done better."
Michael "Psycho Mike" Catherwood expressed similar feelings, saying that he did not feel good about his debut.
"I went out and did something that I knew I wasn't good at and then I got told that I was not very good at it," said Michael.
"I almost passed out when I first got out there," said Hines Ward, admitting to being nervous about his first performance. "This is not my element here."
"No matter what the judges say, I still am every woman," said Wendy Williams, who showed Christina her Wonder Woman pin that she wore for good luck.

It was the third marriage for Barr when she married Ben Thomas at Caesars in Lake Tahoe, California. Watch the happy couple cut the cake!
The couple had a son together named Buck, but went on to divorce in 2002.
Charlie Sheen may have been fired from "Two and a Half Men," but that doesn't seem to have lessened his TV time.
On Monday night, Sheen interrupted Mark Cuban's interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," handing out merchandise and kisses. After revving up audience members with high-fives, Sheen planted a smooch on Kimmel's lips and plopped down on the couch next to Cuban.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cuban has been in talks with Sheen about possibly starting a reality show starring the actor.
Sheen also gave souvenirs to mark the unforgettable occasion. Cuban was handed a shirt bearing Sheen's image and his "Winning" trademark, while Kimmel was presented a shirt showing a kitten.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" airs weeknights on ABC.
"The Insider" gained access backstage at the season premiere of "Dancing with the Stars," getting the contestants to reveal what went through their heads just before hitting the stage.
"My family," said Kendra Wilkinson, who has a son with husband Hank Baskett. "Just seeing my family there and being so happy that they came."
Ralph Macchio had similar thoughts, saying, "Last thing that went through my mind was the quick look to my wife and my parents in the first row."
Other dancers like Petra Nemcova and Hines Ward kept it simple. Petra concentrated on having fun while Hines thought, "Don't mess up."

It's been a battle of the TV personalities! After much schoolyard banter, "The Celebrity Apprentice" contestants Star Jones and Lisa Rinna seem to have cooled down their fiery feud -- and we can thank NBC's lawyers for that.
The two ladies clashed on Donald Trump's hit show despite their attempt to work together in the name of charity. After getting fired, Rinna sent some not-so-sweet tweets about her rival Jones, including posting pics comparing the former "View" co-host to some freakish masks. The soap star also reportedly sent some nasty e-mails to Jones. Subsequently, Jones got NBC lawyers involved. Since then, it appears all has been quiet on Rinna's western front.
Now Jones is speaking out. The lawyer-turned-TV personality has said exclusively to Entertainment Tonight: "After the show, I think there were some hard feelings and I was a little surprised because it felt a little more high school than I was used to."
She goes on to say, "I handled it and NBC and legal handled it. It's a done deal. We don't even need to worry about it anymore ... and I'm sure Lisa regrets it."
I guess we will see about that, won't we Star?
Tsk tsk -- Lisa, you probably should have known better before bad mouthing Jones. Don't mess with the iron
fisted lawyer who bears a grudge. Do we need to mention Jones' new book? Aptly titled Satan's Sisters, Jones' novel is set in the bright lights of daytime television and tells the story of ... (wait for it) ... a fictional ladies talk show! Hmm ... sound familiar ('cause it should)? With a title invoking the devil, it seems as if even the venerable and beloved Barbara Walters isn't safe from the wrath of Miss Jones.
Look we get it, don't F with Star Jones! OR ELSE!
Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson clearly had a good time on the set of Oscar winner James L. Brooks' delightful comedy 'How Do You Know,' on DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday. Check out the exclusive bloopers!
Watch the various slaphappy stars whack each other, flub lines, do a little dance and eat spaghetti face-level from a plate! Catch these bloopers and more on the DVD/Blu-ray.
In 'How Do You Know,' Reese plays a former softball player caught in a quirky love triangle with self-centered pro baseball star Wilson and down-on-his-luck businessman Rudd.
