'Puss in Boots' co-stars Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek took Cannes by storm Wednesday, arriving on the water in a giant, 22-foot-high pair of black boots.
Flamenco dancers dressed in black set the scene on the red carpet, and then Antonio and Salma emerged from the boots to greet hundreds of fans, curious onlookers and the press.
"The interesting thing about 'Shrek,' and I think following in the tradition of 'Shrek' with 'Puss in Boots,' is that we make movies that not only are appealing for very young audiences, but to the [parents]," says Antonio, who voices the title character. "I think it's important to wink an eye at the parents too."
"Of course, Antonio made it extra attractive because I love working with him so much," says Salma, who plays the street-savvy Kitty Softpaws. "I have a child now, so I was very tickled by the idea of me being in one of those movies that she watches thousands of times. … It's very exciting to get rid of your body and just work with your voice."
The 3D animated 'Shrek' spinoff, which follows the infamous sword-wielding cat before he met Shrek in a plot to steal the famed goose that lays the golden eggs, struts into theaters and IMAX November 4.
TheInsider.com sits down with family attorney Robert Brandt to sort out the possibilities of a divorce between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver and explore whether the pair signed a prenuptial agreement before their storybook wedding in 1986.
"It could be massive if there is a divorce," Brandt said. "We are talking about a world famous actor who was making $20 million a movie before he became governor. We are talking about someone who is in the Kennedy family -- one of the most famous, wealthy families in the world. A case like this, if they don't work it out, could involve tremendous sums of money. We could be talking about upwards of a billion dollars in net worth."
"Under California law, all community property has to be equally divided. So if we are talking about a billion dollars in acquisitions -- from the date of marriage to the date of separation -- each one of them is going to end up with half a billion dollars, absolutely," Brandt said.
The attorney at the Feinberg, Mindel, Brandt & Klein law firm in Los Angeles said that while it has not been disclosed whether the famous couple signed a prenuptial agreement, he's sure they evaluated this carefully before the marriage. "I would have to think that considering she was from the Kennedy clan, and he had already done many, many movies and was extremely successful -- and he was an actor -- they certainly had to have thought about a prenuptial agreement."

"Survivor: Redemption Island" cast member Andrea Boehlke responded to her betrayers face-to-face in this sneak peek of the next episode.
Andrea never expected to be voted out of the Murlonio tribe at the most recent tribal council and she nearly broke down in tears when describing the pain of being blindsided.
"It's just amazing to me that you can look into people's eyes and they can all lie to you," Andrea said. "It's a really shocking and humbling experience."
Andrea is accompanied on Redemption Island by Matt Elrod, Mike Chiesl and Ralph Kiser. See who endures through the next "Survivor: Redemption Island" Wednesday on CBS.
News of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's split was fresh on the minds of the "Dancing with the Stars" cast last night, and Maria's close friend Kirstie Alley had some words of understanding and encouragement for the newly separated couple.
Kirstie recalls her own experience with separation and divorce, calling it a "sad" time, and although the power couple has "raised beautiful children," they now have to "decide what to do with each other," adding that she's confident "they'll make the right choice."
Partner Maksim shared in Kirstie's sadness, saying that the break-up was unsettling because it "demolishes the idea that [marriage] works."
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson found the news of the couple's separation a surprise, and called the end of their marriage "sad." Kym confessed she didn't even hear about the news until now because she's been "so caught up in the dancing."

Visiting Namaste Charter School in Chicago, Jennifer Hudson sat down with "The Insider"'s Christina McLarty to talk about her experience with weight loss, staying active with her son, and her recent experience on "Oprah."
While losing weight with Weight Watchers, Hudson also talked about the necessity of keeping active with her son so that he learns the value of being active and exercising at a young age.
Promoting the third annual Walk-It Challenge for Weight Watchers, Hudson practiced yoga moves with the students of Namaste Charter School and further encouraged the students to maintain a healthy lifestyle and continue working out.
Speaking about appearing at the school, Hudson said, "I'm just glad to be here and be a part of it. It kind of goes hand in hand with the way they encourage good health and teach kids that way. I wanted to make sure that I gave that example to go off of."
When asked about her recent interview with Oprah, Hudson said, "It's always amazing. She's always very pleasant and I love going back there. It feels like home."

Like father, like son. Romeo followed in the footsteps of dad Master P by being dismissed from "Dancing With the Stars" without the mirror ball in his possession.
Romeo hung in long enough to overcome his fear of dancing. "I didn't dance at my own prom," he revealed. "I turned down a lot of movies because I was terrified of dancing. Coming to this show and having a teacher like Chelsie [Hightower], it definitely opened my eyes up and I think only bettered my future."
Banished from the ballroom, Romeo is looking forward to shaking his hips with Chelsie in a salsa club. Proud of his growth on the show, the singer and actor boasted "we went out with a bang" after dancing what he considers to be his best dance on Monday night.
Ralph Macchio's injured knee was undoubtedly quivering until the very end when he and partner Karina Smirnoff learned viewers granted him the opportunity to heal and dance next week with extra zeal.
The final four prance their fancy feet next Monday on "Dancing With the Stars" on ABC.
After terrorizing season 8 of "NCIS," the Port-to-Port Killer was finally revealed on Tuesday's episode.
Newcomer Lt. Jonas Cobb (Kerr Smith), who was brought on to help search for the Port-to-Port Killer, had his cover blown in the latest episode when Special Agent Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team discovered that Cobb was the murderer they've been after.
We visited the "NCIS" set in April, going behind the scenes as the cast filmed the ending to this dynamic plot line.
"You know what's interesting to me is when you get somebody that either looks or plays a good guy all the time, because it's more interesting [to see that actor] as a bad guy," said Kerr Smith, who might be best known for his clean-cut character Jack McPhee on "Dawson's Creek."
Watch the clip to see Mike Franks (Muse Watson) going head-to-head against Cobb. "NCIS" airs Tuesdays on CBS.
Just one day after announcing his separation from wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger was back in the limelight Tuesday night in Los Angeles. While accepting an award at the Skirball Cultural Center in honor of the 63rd Israeli Independence Day celebration, Arnold acknowledged his marital struggles and thanked everyone for the "tremendous amount of support" he's received.
He has not cut off lines of communication with his estranged wife, with whom he shares four children. Despite living apart, Arnold revealed he spoke to Maria soon before arriving at the event. The separated couple discussed their gratitude for the outpouring of support from friends during this hurdle in their relationship.
Is there hope for reconciliation? Unsure of what the future holds for their rocky marriage, Arnold and Maria are taking it one day at a time. He said sincerely, "We both love each other very much."
Watch the video to see Arnold deliver his emotional words firsthand.
The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson visited "The Oprah Winfrey Show," leaking details on the emotional toll the royal wedding took on her, having been excluded from the ceremony.
"It was so difficult because I wanted to be there with my girls and to be getting them dressed and to go as a family," said Fergie, whose daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie turned heads with their fashion choices for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. "And also it was so hard because the last bride up that aisle was me."
Fergie wed Prince Andrew at Westminster Abbey in 1986. The couple divorced 10 years later.
As far as who's to blame for her exclusion, The Duchess spilled that she felt like she had been ostracized but not by the royal family.
"I felt that I had ostracized myself by my behavior, by my past, by living with all the regrets and my mistakes," said Fergie.
Click the video to hear what Fergie said about Princess Diana, and you can see the full interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" tomorrow, May 11.
"Saturday Night Live" cast member Jason Sudeikis has a few butterflies about his first time at the MTV Movie Awards, which is understandable considering he's hosting the ceremony.
"Falling down at some point," Jason said when asked what he feared the most about providing the entertainment for MTV's big night.
Fortunately for Jason, he had a few friends to call on for advice.
"I asked Sarah Silverman if I should do it," said Jason. "I asked Andy [Samberg] and he was like, 'Absolutely, you should do it.'"
Sarah emceed the event in 2007 while Andy took the helm in 2009. One tip the actor got from his famous friends was to book talent early if he came up with a casting idea for a sketch.
"Very showbizzy advice, I know," Jason admitted. "But helpful never the less."
Jason hasn't had a lot of time to focus on what he's most looking forward to, but he guessed that he'll "probably be really excited for that five minutes right after it's done."

Katy Perry is heading to the big screen as Smurfette in the 3D live-action movie 'The Smurfs,' and we have a sneak peek!
Hank Azaria plays the evil wizard Gargamel who will stop at nothing to capture the Smurfs. When he chases them out of their village, they're transported through a portal to our world – smack dab in the middle of New York City. Neil Patrick Harris and "Glee" star Jayma Mays and Sofia Vergara are some of the live-action humans who encounter the Smurfs, while Jonathan Winters, Anton Yelchin, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen and George Lopez lend their vocal talents to the little blue creatures alongside Katy Perry.
'The Smurfs' invade theaters July 29, and you can also catch the entire 'Smurfs' promo in NCM's First Look pre-show in AMC, Cinemark and Regal Entertainment Group movie theaters nationwide.

Sarah Jessica Parker did a little boogie with her twins in a local park accompanied by her husband of thirteen years, Matthew Broderick. The couple will share their fourteenth wedding anniversary next Thursday, May 19.
Later that night, Christina Aguilera spent some quality time with boyfriend Matthew Rutler, taking a trip down to dining hot spot Spice Market, while Keira Knightley signed autographs for fans as she arrived for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."
With TV's long-awaited upfront presentations less than a week away, TheInsider.com gets a breakdown from TV Guide Magazine's senior critic Matt Roush on which shows are likely to return in the fall and which ones could be axed.
Among the shows Matt thinks are "on the bubble" this time around: ABC's drama "Brothers & Sisters," NBC's "The Event," "Law & Order: Los Angeles" and "Chuck." Those likely to return include: ABC's "Desperate Housewives," CBS's police drama "Blue Bloods" and NBC's "Harrys' Law" and "Parenthood."
At CBS, while the "CSI" crime drama franchise has been hugely successful, Matt said it might be the end of the road for the network's New York-themed show. "'CSI: NY' has been around awhile and CBS has a history of taking some of their long-running crime shows and just retiring them so they can bring new ones on the schedule, and that may happen to 'CSI: NY.' It just may be its time to go," he said. The CBS shows "The Defenders" and "$#*! My Dad Says" are also long shots to come back, according to Matt.
Watch the video to hear more predictions for show cancellations and to hear about the prospects for bringing "Charlie's Angels" back to TV!
Rosie O'Donnell is gearing up for her all-new show on Oprah's OWN network, and we're time warping back to 1992, when Rosie was just breaking into feature films with a role in 'A League of Their Own' opposite such stars as Tom Hanks, Geena Davis and Madonna.
Of watching herself onscreen, Rosie confided, "It's very awkward. It seems like it's not a real movie to me when I'm in it."
She also explained that she hoped to use stand-up comedy as a stepping stone to acting: "I wanted to be more of a comedic actress more than a stand-up comic, and I thought stand-up comedy would provide me the opportunity to segue into acting, and thankfully it has done that," said Rosie.
With the recent announcement that former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are separating after 25 years of marriage, The Insider has footage of an undoubtedly happier time together – their wedding day on April 26, 1986 at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
In our footage, Arnold and Maria are seen walking out of the church for the first time as a married couple, Maria in a lace, puff sleeve wedding gown. Arnold proudly shows off his new bride, cameras flashing, as they are whisked away into their white limo.
A massive crowd also cheers at the celebrity wedding guests, which includes Maria's uncle the late Ted Kennedy, iconic artist Andy Warhol, Diane Sawyer, the late John F. Kennedy, Jr. and his mother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Check out the video to see footage of their fairy tale wedding.
Spanish-born actress Penelope Cruz has been in the biz since the tender age of 15, but it wasn't until 2001's 'Vanilla Sky' that Cruz gained world-wide recognition. It's been a whirlwind of red carpets since, and this beauty has taken to the glamor like a fish to water.
Let's rewind the clock on Penelope, and check out a few of her best and worst fashion moments!
Hines hasn't exactly jumped on board with the idea of a "Cops" themed dance in light of last week's run in with the police, but with The Insider's Christina McLarty as instigator, Ward may just warm up to it eventually.
Ward considered Christina's proposition, conceding that a step in that direction may skyrocket his "bad boy" status to the likes of dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Romeo Miller and Chelsie Hightower both found the idea "awesome," and Ralph Macchio took it a step further with the suggestion that Hines incorporate handcuffs in his future routine.
Play the video to hear everything the cast had to say about Ward's run-in with the police.
Watch an all-new "Dancing with the Stars," tonight on ABC.
The final five of "Dancing with the Stars" -- will Kirstie Alley be the first to go?
Then, the Pippa Middleton topless photos -- will there be a royal backlash?
Plus, a first look at Katy Perry as Smurfette -- and Rosie O'Donnell's Backstory before her OWN debut. Next "Insider"!
How did your faves rank on the "Dancing with the Stars" scoreboard tonight?
Here's the "Dancing with the Stars" scoreboard for season 12 so far! Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas won over the judges not only once, but twice on Monday night. The Disney star was "over the moon" after receiving two 10's for her first dance. That one extra perfect score set her one point above Hines Ward and Kym Johnson after all the couples completed two dances. Each pair was challenged with thinking on their feet by whipping together a last-minute instant dance in addition to their fully choreographed routine.
Ralph Macchio courageously persevered through "acute pain." The scores were not so sympathetic, leaving him predominantly below his opponents.

The latest "American Idol" eliminated contestant Jacob Lusk met up with The Insider and touched on a variety of topics, from his fashion sense to his visit with Regis and Kelly (where he thinks he would be a suitable fill-in when Regis retires), but went in-depth on his perception of why he was ejected.
"I would have sang 'Ain't No Way' by Aretha Franklin or 'A Change is Gonna Come' by Sam Cooke," the former "Idol" contestant said. "If I sang a different song, I'd still be there."
Despite hindsight doubts on his song selection, the outspoken singer remained full of confidence. Lusk conveyed his excitement for the upcoming "American Idol" live tour and his upcoming album, something he claims the people are "thirsty" for.
As for his untimely exit, Lusk summed it up with this pointed declaration: "Top five out of 125,000 people is not a bad place to be."

Denise Richards dished about the paparazzi, motherhood and being an active animal lover to our Brooke Anderson over this Mother's Day weekend. We caught up with the former Mrs. Sheen as she was hosting the Nintendogs and Cats Event in Beverly Hills.
Opening up about protecting her daughters Sam and Lola Rose, Denise told us, "You know sometimes the paparazzi get difficult but they are also very respectful if I ask them certain things not to ask. The hard thing is they would try to ask questions about their dad in front of them...(my kids) are in an age where they can hear things. So that part is hard." She continues, "a lot of people say they don't look happy in paparazzi pictures, which they don't, but they don't like getting their picture taken!"
How does Denise handle the challenge of balancing a career and being a single mother in Hollywood? "You just do. I don't think of anything as really balanced. I kind of think of it as organized chaos. It's keeping a very harmonious home in the midst of all the chaos is all I hope for, but it's basically just prioritizing."
Denise is also releasing a book this summer titled, "The Real Girl Next Door," and you may be surprised to find out that it's, "not a solicitous tell-all," but more inspirational. She continues, "I went through so much in a real short period of time and I was at my rock bottom and want to give anyone that is in the situation I was in, or something similar, hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel." Denise got hit with a trifecta of problems, "a lot of people relate to divorce and death and career, losing your job. I had all three happen at once. It was really hard, but I got through it and it definitely made me stronger."
The weekend event was far from somber though. Denise was so, "flattered and honored that they asked me to host. A lot of people know that I am a huge animal lover and do a lot of rescue work so I was glad they reached out." Just don't ask her how many dogs she is currently caring for. " I am renting a home while I remodel and I don't think my landlord knows how many I have so I don't really want to put that out there."
On May 8, 2006, magician and illusionist David Blaine was about to perform one of his most dangerous stunts to date.
Blaine had been submerged in a water filled globe for an entire week while wearing an oxygen mask. Visitors to New York City's Lincoln Center courtyard stopped by to wave to Blaine and pose for photos next to him. This week spent in the globe was only the first of two parts for his latest stunt.
On May 8, he took his oxygen mask off, held his breath for 4 whole minutes, and then began to unchain himself from the bottom of the globe.
Check out the video to see what happened to Blaine as he attempted this challenge.
It's down to the final five couples on "Dancing with the Stars", and The Insider's Brooke Anderson was behind the scenes with the youngest pair of the season, Romeo and Chelsie Hightower, as they put in some rehearsal time for tonight's show.
Despite a grueling 45 hour a week rehearsal schedule, the two were in good spirits, Romeo especially grateful for making it to the top five of the show's 12th season.
"I'm just grateful to still be here. I never thought I would've been here eight weeks," Romeo says. "It definitely shows that anything is possible with hard work, and I have a great teacher."
Speaking of Chelsie, Romeo adds, "I'm not complaining [about the hours of dance practice], you know, I want to win this thing for her. I think she deserves that trophy."
In addition to competing on this season's "Dancing with the Stars," Romeo is also promoting his film 'Jumping the Broom', out now.
"Just don't sleep," Romeo laughs, when asked about how he juggles his time. "My favorite quote now is 'sleep when you're dead,'" he jokes.
And although he shares that eliminating a dancing duo every week is like "losing a family member", it doesn't stop him from showing our cameras his competitive edge.
"I love you Kirstie [Alley], but I'm coming for you," Romeo smiles.
Check out our backstage footage of "Team RomeTower" rehearsing for tonight's "Dancing with the Stars".

It seems there's no love lost between Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
Just moments after it was confirmed that Paula will in fact be a judge on "The X Factor" alongside Simon, "L.A." Reid and Cheryl Cole, the two were seen hugging and kissing as they both arrived at The X Factor Premiere in Los Angeles. An affectionate Paula even wrapped a leg around Simon, as she held his face with both hands.
But their love-hate relationship quickly went back into its old routine, as Simon couldn't resist teasing Paula by calling her name like a dog.
Check out their sweet reunion caught on camera.
The Insider.com takes you behind the scenes for Nicole Scherzinger and rapper 50 Cent's new music video for Nicole's single "Right There."
The single is to be released in the U.S. this summer off Nicole's newest album, Killer Love. The hip-shaking video features a scantily clad Nicole dancing in a variety of locations from clubs to an empty aqueduct from with a bevy of gorgeous gals and 50 Cent.
The Pussycat Doll and "Dancing with the Stars" champion said collaborating with 50 Cent made all the difference on this project. "Man, when I heard 50 on it, it just sounded like a classic record to me and I was like 'This is beautiful. This is something special and the song is, the song feels really good."
Nicole, who was named over the weekend as a host of Simon Cowell's upcoming competition show "The X Factor," is pleased with the new record. "This is the perfect first single for me because it's not trying too hard, it feels really good, the song. I love the tempo, I love the feel, the vibe, and it's got this really great island rhythm to it," says the singer, whose roots stem from Hawaii, Ukraine and the Philippines.
Watch the video to get a glimpse of Nicole's kick-ass dance moves and to see what tricks were used during the filming.
When it was announced that Tina Fey would be hosting "SNL," many were wondering "will she or won't she" step back into the Palin power suit. This weekend, she answered those questions with a resounding "yes" in a hilarious reprisal of her infamous parody of the former vice-presidential candidate.
The sketch depicts Sarah Palin in an undeclared Republican candidate debate for the 2012 presidential election which has her head to head with Donald Trump, played by "SNL" alum Darrell Hammond.
Fey, as Palin, pokes fun at Sarah's feud with Katie Couric, as well as the surprising announcement that she has a cameo in 'The Hangover 3.'
Watch the video to catch Tina Fey bring on the laughs, and don't miss an all-new "Saturday Night Live," next Saturday on NBC.
Back on May 9th, 2001, Destiny's Child was filming the video for their hit song "Bootylicious."
The girls teamed up with Stevie Nicks, of Fleetwood Mac fame, for the video. A sample of Nicks' song "Edge of Seventeen" served as the beat for "Bootylicious," and Nicks appeared in the video playing guitar to the sampled music.
Talking about asking Nicks to be a part of their video, the singers thought it wouldn't be possible originally. "We were a little scared. Before we met her, we were scared, but when she walked in she was so warm it was like, you've got to do our video," singer Beyonce Knowles said.
Check out the video for an interview with Destiny's Child and behind-the-scenes footage from this classic music video.
