The Insider's Kevin Frazier takes you inside Chicago's United Center, where thousands of excited fans and prominent celebrities gathered Tuesday to take part in Oprah Winfrey's final tapings after a historic 25-year run.
The star-studded extravaganza was attended by celebrities including: Madonna, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Beyonce, Patti LaBelle, Halle Berry, Rosie O'Donnell, Josh Groban, Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Simon Cowell and more. Harpo Studios provided more than 154,000 tickets for the back-to-back show tapings that will air May 23 and May 24.
Pop icon Madonna told Kevin that Oprah has had a tremendous impact on America that will be felt for many years to come. "She's a really important woman in American history. There's no denying it. You know when we look back, and we say what women have influenced America in the 20th, 21st century, she will be on the top of that list, for sure."
Patti LaBelle said that being able to surprise Oprah by performing during her "Farewell Spectacular" marked the highlight of her singing career. Simon Cowell said what surprises him most about Oprah's success is her unprecedented longevity. ""I always say the hardest thing in life is, forget about surviving a year, surviving a decade, and then transcending into another decade, and then another one. That is almost impossible."
Rosie O'Donnell talked about getting her own talk show on Oprah's OWN network that will actually shoot in Oprah's former studio. "It's not only her stage, it's her city, it's her staff, it's the fact that she has set the bar so high, higher than any woman ever in the history of media. She is the most successful ever. And so to have her have faith in me and say, I believe you can do this, is pretty huge."
Watch the video for more backstage interviews and be sure to catch "The Oprah Winfrey Show"'s final episode on May 25.
A chorus of boos greeted Mel Gibson in Cannes, France after he arrived for a photocall for his movie 'The Beaver.'
Upon arriving via limousine with an unlit cigarette in his mouth, Gibson initially encounters a vocal crowd of onlookers and photographers who shout at him to stop for pictures and autographs. When he doesn't comply and keeps walking, the crowd boos loudly.
Gibson is attending the Cannes Film Festival to promote his drama 'The Beaver' and later appeared at the photocall with his co-star and the film's director, Jodie Foster.
Earlier this month, Beyonce was also booed by photographers who complained that she didn't stop long enough for them to snap her picture at the star-studded MET Costume Institute Gala in New York.
With news of Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child admission still fresh on the public's mind, The Insider's Christina McLarty asked celebrities in attendance at UNICEF's Playlist with the A-List event Tuesday night for their reactions to Arnold's shocking confession.
When asked if he was keeping up with the latest scandalous news, Jack Black delivered a naughty but humorous response to the question, saying that what he knows about the story is that there was some "groping" which led to a "planting of a seed" and a "baby," but then with a degree of seriousness, Black came to an end with a "no comment" response.
Christina broke the news to Alyssa Milano, who responded with the playfully short and sweet comment, "it's not mine."
"CSI: Miami" star Eva La Rue tells us she heard about Arnold's love child just a few hours before, and jokingly credited his Republican nature for keeping the secret under wraps for so long.

On May 18, 1995, Jim Carrey was filming the sequel to his hit film 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,' titled 'Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.'
Carrey liked to joke around on the set a lot, keeping the film shoot very lighthearted and full of laughter. He most notably joked around with director Steve Oedekerk and in one instance said that he wouldn’t leave his trailer unless Oedekerk wore a pink bow in his hair.
'Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls' made over $37 million on opening weekend and made over $200 million worldwide at the box office.

When asked if she had heard the recent news of Arnold Schwarzenegger's admission to a love child with a household staffer, a normally naughty Kirstie Alley had to visibly restrain herself in her reply. She did however offer a few lighthearted words of advice for the Former First Lady of California.
Although initially declining to comment on the situation "out of respect for Maria," Kirstie soon reconsidered, and gave the following advice to Shriver: "I think she should go on a really long vacation with some hot dude."
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson were overjoyed to make it to the final three, and although Kym admits she "got caught up in the competition" and pushed herself too far, as evidenced in last week's rehearsal injury during, she says she "learned a big lesson" and decided to take "the pressure off themselves for a little bit" which proved a winning strategy.
Karina Smirnoff and Ralph Macchio went home this week, and although they are sad to leave the dance floor, Karina "would not take a second away from what we experienced together as a couple on the show." Ralph agreed, adding that "the memories are awesome."

Ralph Macchio and Kirstie Alley were on the block for Tuesday's "Dancing with the Stars," but only one of them will continue.
Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy quietly celebrated as Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff were announced as the eliminated couple.
"I will never forget how the fans have driven us through every week," said Ralph, citing the crowd's eruption following his first dance as one of the memories that will stick with him.
Just before saying sayonara to the gleam and glitter of the ABC reality show, Ralph gave a heartwarming speech exulting his beautiful pro partner.
"Karina, you have inspired me in so many ways with your heart, your talent, your class, your integrity as an artist and even more so as a human being," Ralph gushed. "I am proud to have been your dance partner and even more proud to be your friend."
With the 'Karate Kid' headed home, Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane and Kirstie are left to duke it out for the mirror ball trophy. Tune in for the "Dancing with the Stars" finale Monday on ABC.

TheInsider.com sits down with family attorney Robert Brandt to examine how much of Arnold Schwarzenegger's fortune his love child could get and to explore the possibility that the actor payed hush money to his mistress.
"Child support guidelines will determine the amount of monthly child support that must be paid to this child," said Brandt, an attorney at Feinberg, Mindel, Brandt & Klein in Los Angeles. "The court might take into account Arnold's lifestyle, but for the most part they'll take into account his income."
Schwarzenegger's child was fathered out of wedlock more than a decade ago and Brandt said that fact makes it a very likely there was some agreement between the actor and the child's mother to keep the event quiet. "In these types of cases, when you're talking about a public figure, a celebrity, it is not uncommon at all for there to be a side agreement, an understanding, a confidential agreement between the parties that would keep it out of court, in which there would be some payment made by Arnold to the mother of the child, and an understanding that she would keep it quiet, that she wouldn't go public."
The attorney said given the fact that Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are both huge celebrities, they will probably try to settle the matter out of the media. "I think the key in this case is we're talking about two incredibly public figures. We're talking about a child of the Kennedy family, the Kennedy clan, the Kennedy legend. We're talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of the most well-known actors in the world. My guess is they're going to do everything they can to keep this as confidential, as quiet as possible, work it out and settle."
Watch the video to hear an explanation of how much money the love child's mother -- who worked as a staff member in the family household -- could be entitled to in addition to child support.
Andrew Morton, author of William & Catherine: Their Story, in stores now, and founder of The Morton Report, dished to us on Prince William and Kate Middleton's honeymoon and why he thinks Princess Diana would have been jealous of the new Duchess of Cambridge.
"Diana loved to be in the limelight," Andrew said, explaining his position. "And for once, she would be in the shadows."
Andrew added that by now Diana would have been almost 50 years old and passing the "fashion baton" to her new daughter-in-law, further distancing herself from the spotlight.
Andrew's new book is a tell-all concerning William and Kate's relationship, which has already seen its fair share of scandal with the release of racy photos of Pippa Middleton. But according to Andrew, Prince William isn't bothered by the gossip.
"William always says that he came with a lot of baggage because it's not just the Middleton family who've got a few skeletons in their cupboard," said Andrew. "The house of Windsor is full of them. You've got the Fergie pictures of having her toes sucked [and] you've got Prince Charles and his racy taped recorded messages to Camilla Parker Bowles."
Right now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are miles away from their affairs back home, enjoying their honeymoon reportedly in the Seychelles.
Andrew divulged that the Seychelles "is a place where they went to when they reconciled after their split in 2007, so it's got some really fond memories for them."

Last night's airing of Kym Johnson's rehearsal injury seemed to have caught both the dancer, and the entire cast by complete surprise. The Insider's Christina McLarty was on hand backstage to garner the emotional reactions from Kym and the remaining "DWTS" contestants.
With tears in his eyes following their first dance, Hines Ward celebrated partner Kym as a "warrior," and praised God that she could walk after Friday's fall. The duo earned two rounds of perfect scores for their Salsa and Argentine tango.
When Christina asked Hines about the disturbing video of Kym's injury, he said he "tried not to watch it" but ended up catching as it aired the second time. He recalled the moment with disgust, saying his gut reaction was "not a great feeling," adding that he "almost threw up" watching the fall in action.
Despite Friday's accident, Kym Johnson and Hines Ward pulled off two rounds of perfect scores from the judges.
Watch what the cast had to say about seeing the disturbing footage, and don't miss the last round of eliminations before finals, tomorrow on ABC.
On this day in 2002, Rosie O'Donnell talked about the end of her successful daytime talk show, "The Rosie O'Donnell Show."
The comedienne began hosting her own talk show in 1996 after making a name for herself through stand-up comedy, sitcoms and film appearances. Her jovial and light-hearted nature on the show granted her the nickname "The Queen of Nice," while the show itself became a hit, earning numerous Emmy awards in the process. Rosie's career sky-rocketed during that period thanks to the show's accomplishments in what she referred to as "the best six years of my life."

TheInsider.com's Nicole Dabeau shared her prediction for which character is supposed to die on the next "Glee," getting Matthew Morrison to spill a few clues.
Nicole caught up with the "Glee" star at the Songwriters Music Series benefit in New York City for the VHI Save the Music Foundation where he sang for the crowd.
"Not me," Matthew confirmed when asked who will perish in tomorrow night's episode.
"I have a prediction - it's Sue [Sylvester]," said Nicole.
"You're prediction is actually kind of a good one," Matthew replied.
Even with the hit show on hiatus, the actor might not be able to take much of a vacation. His debut solo album is due out this spring and features collaborations with Sir Elton John, Sting and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Insider caught up with James Durbin days after he became the latest castoff from "American Idol." The rocker expressed his disappointment, not for getting kicked off, but for other reasons.
"I was sad but not for the reason that most people think," Durbin declared. "The biggest reason was I knew I wouldn't get to go to homecoming and see my family."
The singer was delightfully surprised when the show runners granted him the chance to join the homecoming episode, an experience he likened to "Beatle-mania." When asked about Jennifer Lopez crying during his announced exit, he almost felt remorseful despite being nearly oblivious to what happened.
"I didn't actually know until I watched it back," Durbin said. "I don't like to make girls cry. Girls make me cry."
Hear what Durbin said about the upcoming "American Idol" tour and more in the video!
Kym Johnson was wheeled out of her "Dancing with the Stars" rehearsal on a stretcher that was brought to Cedar Sinai hospital on Friday and today the show finally revealed the disturbing video of the accident taking place.
"I can't feel my arms," Kym moaned after her rough tumble, collapsing underneath her dance partner Hines Ward. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have made us try that stupid lift."
Hines called the move "difficult," explaining, "I was supposed to swing her through my leg and lift her up and all my weight just came down on the back of her neck."
Hines seemed to be almost physically ill at the sight of his partner in so much pain.
"To be honest, I'm not even thinking about the competition now," Hines said. "[I] just hope and pray she's alright."
Watch "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday on ABC.
It doesn't get any bigger than this. Superstar couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet for the premiere of Brad's film 'The Tree of Life' at the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival in France, causing a media and fan frenzy in the process. Angelina wore an Atelier Versace mocha colored strapless dress made out of silk mikado, with a full skirt on her left side and a daring slit and long train on her right side, while Brad donned a pair of tinted glasses with his hair slicked back.
Fellow 'The Tree of Life' stars Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain also walked the red carpet in support of the Terrence Malick-directed film, the three stars holding hands for the photographers. Other celebs present for the premiere included Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale.
Check out the video for more of Brad and Angelina working the Cannes red carpet.
Enrique Iglesias sat down with our Brooke Anderson to talk about his new tour, why he didn't join Britney Spears on hers, how he handles groupies and dating Anna Kournikova.
Before his current tour which kicks off Sept. 22 in Boston, Enrique was involved in a bit of a touring snafu when it was announced he'd be touring with Britney Spears. "I truly respect Britney Spears and I am a fan. What happened is everything came together so fast, it wasn't finalized and the announcement was made...I felt so bad about it." But don't think Enrique wasn't enthusiastic about working with Britney, saying, "It would have been a great idea and I would have loved to go on tour with her."
Instead of Britney, the "I Like It" singer will be joined by Pitbull and Prince Royce. So how does the 36 year old stay in touring shape? "I'm not," the humble singer laughs, "the doctor told me (I) have one of those South Beach bodies. You look like you're in shape, but you're not really in shape. You look skinny. You don't have a lot of fat, but I can't even run half a mile." If only the rest of us could be so lucky.
Surprisingly, you'd think that with all of those screaming fans Enrique would want to be in running shape or at least have decent security. "You are not going to believe me, but never in my career have I ever hired a security guard." Enrique values his independence saying, "for me, having someone next to me the whole time, taking care of me, is a little too much." Though he adds, "don't get me wrong, there are times you need it."
Unfortunately Enrique fans, the singer is still happily with long-time girlfriend Anna Kournikova. "Its tough to find someone especially in this environment, in showbiz, that understands what you do is not the easiest thing in the world," adding, "I think relationships are tough period." For now you'll just have to check him out at one of his nearly 20 stops as it "should be a fun tour."
From Europe to L.A. to NYC the stars were out and we have all of the fun footage in this edition of Paparazzi GPS!
Just days after exiting her rehearsal on a stretcher, "Dancing with the Stars" pro Kym Johnson was spotted back at rehearsal with a neck brace.
Meanwhile, Pippa Middleton was snapped catching a flight back to her native UK and in New York City, Will Smith chatted with some fans while he took a break from shooting the next installment of the 'Men in Black' franchise.

Brad Pitt recently discussed his kids, growing up questioning religion and the trajectory of his enviable career at the Cannes Film Festival press conference for his latest film, 'The Tree of Life', also starring Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain. Brad plays an extremely strict, oppressive father of three boys in the highly anticipated period piece about life in 1950s Texas, which is being described as being about a boy's loss of innocence and true coming of age as a "lost soul in the modern world". The intense drama is directed by the notoriously private director Terrence Malick, whose previous films include 'The Thin Red Line' and 'The New World.'
According to Brad, his own Christian upbringing and his questioning of it growing up, was a big factor that drew him to the film.
"For me I grew up with Christianity, and I remember questioning greatly some things that didn't work for me, [and] some things did," Brad says. "I grew up being told that God's gonna take care of everything and it doesn't always work out that way, and when it doesn't work out that way, then it's God's will. I got my issues man, don't even get me started...I got my issues," he jokes.
He also recalls his hesitation at playing such an oppressive father in the film because of the effect it would have on his personal life, particularly on his six kids with Angelina Jolie.
"You know, I think about everything I do now and what my kids are going to see when they grow up and how are they going to feel," he says. "But they know me as a dad and I hope they'll just think I'm a pretty damn good actor," he smiles.
When asked about his enviable career as one of the biggest stars in the world, and why he is more drawn to intense dramas such as 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' and now 'The Tree of Life' instead of money-making blockbusters, he cites his desire to always try something new as the main reason his career has taken a turn for the less generic path.
"Well don't count me out of 'Mission: Impossible'...because, I'll be there," he jokes. "...I always want to find something different, that's been my focus. But the point is to just keep mixing it up and I figure I only got so many more of these that I'll get to do. I want to make sure that it has some worth to me and has some worth out there instead of something that's more disposable."

With a purported $6 million dollar budget, the season two finale of "Glee" is sure to be an epic night of television. Theinsider.com's Nicole Dabeau caught up with Dante Di Loreto, an Executive Producer for "Glee" on Sunday night as he was honored at Education Through Music's Children, for some insight into the highly anticipated episode .
When pressed for information, all Dante could say was that "he can't give it away," however he promises that the finale will be "by far the biggest episode yet."
Jane Lynch tells Nicole she's not in the big episode and therefore couldn't spill any secrets, admitting "if i'm not in [the] script, I don't read it."
In the big episode, the cast flies to Manhattan for the glee club nationals. The episode, shot over five days in April, includes Times Square, Tiffany & Co., Washington Square Park and Central Park as key landmark locations. One of the big songs/dances is a mash-up of "New York, New York" and "I Love New York."

"Glee" airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on FOX.
"Dancing with the Stars" finals are almost upon us, and with front-runners Hines Ward and Kym Johnson's recent setback, it could be anyone's game for the four remaining couples. The Insider's Brooke Anderson caught up with Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas during rehearsal to talk about Kym's recent neck injury, as well as their game plan for surviving this decisive week.
When asked about Kym's neck injury, Chelsea says she "just heard" about the incident, with Mark adding that "sometimes these things happen." He calls her a "tough cookie," and wishes her a "speedy recovery."
Although Chelsea and Mark will perform three dances this week, the two seem unfazed by the pressure. Chelsea says they're "holding it together well," giving credit to a "love/hate" relationship which has them at each other's throats during rehearsal, but loving one another by day's end.
This week, Chelsea and Mark will dance the rumba, the Argentine tango and the cha cha. Of the three, Chelsea is most excited about the tango because it's "the only one [I] know right now"
Watch the video to check out more rehearsal action with Mark and Chelsea, and don't miss an all new "Dancing with the Stars" Monday night on ABC.
Back on May 16, 2003, Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon were hard at work on the set of their new show "Nip/Tuck."
The two actors seemed at ease on the set as they joked around with a dummy body in the operating room while trying to learn how to act like real doctors for the show. Both actors had consulted with real-life plastic surgeons to get into their roles. There were also surgeons and nurses on set to make sure the realism of the show was kept up.
Show creator Ryan Murphy, also stopped by the set to talk with his actors and go over notes for the next episode they would begin filming soon.
Murphy would later go on to create the hit Fox show "Glee."
Check out the video to see Walsh and McMahon at work on the set during the first season of "Nip/Tuck."

Chris Jacobs of Entertainment Tonight gained exclusive access backstage at Wango Tango on Saturday where "Dancing with the Stars" pro Mark Ballas, reacted to co-star Kym Johnson's neck injury.
"Thank you everyone for your concern, love and support," Kym tweeted after her mishap on Friday. "I'm a little shaken up, sore but I will be fine. I want to give a special thanks to everyone at Cedar Sinai. The doctors, nurses and staff were so amazing."
According to Hines Ward's facebook page, Kym fell during practice and injured her neck, but she planned to "continue with [Hines] in the competition and get back to rehearsals as soon as possible."
"She's doing better," Mark sighed. "I'm just happy she's fine."
Mark Ballas' rumored girlfriend Pia Toscano gave kudos to the remaining contestants of "American Idol," saying, "They deserve to be there. They did a great job."
"It was a tough and surprising loss with James Durbin," Ryan Seacrest admitted. "I think a lot of people were surprised… It was really emotional but that's the way it works, right?"
Chris was bestowed the honor of helping bring Selena Gomez to the stage at Staples Center over the weekend and he asked Matthew Morrison for some advice on handling such a large crowd.
"You should go out and try and act like Justin Bieber," joked Matthew, who dished raved about the season finale of "Glee," calling it "epic."

Back on May 15, 1998, Sonny and Cher were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their work on "The Sonny and Cher Show."
Cher was joined at the event Mary Bono, Sonny Bono's wife, and both women spoke about their love for Sonny.
Sadly, Sonny was not at the event as he had died in a skiing accident a few months prior in January of 1998.
Speaking after the event on whether she and Sonny had ever hoped they would get a star on the Walk of Fame, Cher said, "We both said that one day we would have our feet in front of Graumann's Chinese Theater. Same difference I guess."
Check out the video to see these two musical legends honored for their work.
Nicki Minaj helped kick off the launch of the Samsung Infuse 4G in Los Angeles last week where she dished about her new tour with Britney Spears.
"Just me being a crazy lunatic probably as always," Nicki responded when asked what fans can expect from this new collaboration. "I'm not going to change it too much from what I was doing on the tour."
Nicki revealed that her fans aren't the only ones who are antsy about the new tour this summer, saying, "I really want to see [Britney] in action. She's definitely an icon and I want to see what she does and how she moves the crowd and how she has managed to stay in the game this long and be relevant."
Former "American Idol" contestant Pia Toscano also made an appearance and chatted about the remaining singers on the show.
"It's anybody's game," said Pia. "At this point everybody's super strong so I really don't know [who will win]. I'm rooting for them all. I really can't wait to join them in the finale."
After her shocking "Idol" elimination, Pia was quickly offered a record deal and is currently working on her first album. On May 14, 2007, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was joined by Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex to present some exceptional students with a community service award at the Viewpoint School in Calabasas, CA.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Young Americans Challenge is a self-development program available to all young people aged 14-25, equipping them with life skills to make a difference within themselves, their communities, and the world. The award has four sections composed of community service, physical fitness, special skills, and an adventurous journey. The purpose of the award program is to cause the students to better themselves while helping others.
Speaking at the ceremony, Gov. Schwarzenegger said "it is so important for young kids to learn to give back to their community and I think that is what makes this country and this state a terrific place to be. We believe very strongly in giving back and in public service. I think the more you give, the more you will get in return."
