SJP is Ready For More 'Sex'
Although the sequel fell short of the original in terms of box office receipts and critical reception, there is still an appetite for more Sex and the City movies. Now, for the first time since last year's sequel came out, star and producer Sarah Jessica Parker is openly talking about a third potential installment!
When asked by Parade magazine if there is another story for Carrie & co to tell, SJP responds, "There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?"
This echoes sentiments of the other actors involved. Kristin Davis exclaimed "I would love to do a third film" when recently asked, while Cynthia Nixon & Kim Cattrall had more tempered reactions. "If [creator] Michael Patrick King thinks there’s a story to tell, then I will absolutely be there," Nixon said, to which Cattrall added, "What is the right way to end it? It’s like trying to write an ending to life – you just don’t know."
