Tyler Blackburn Swaps Rosewood For Neverland

Experiencing ugly, enormous Pretty Little Liars withdrawal symptoms during this already interminable hiatus? Me too. That's why I've been hunting down any and every side project the cast has been working on to help stave off the shakes.

Luckily, Tyler Blackburn has teamed up with Alloy (company behind PLL) for a new webseries called Wendy (watch an exclusive sneak peek to the left).

"It’s a modern day version of Peter Pan, just a little bit darker," Tyler tells TheInsider.com. "Wendy has been leading this unsatisfying, mundane life when she starts having these fantasy sequences about a guy named Pete, who is everything she’s looking for. Except she doesn’t know if he’s real or not."

Tyler tells me he was attracted to Pete from the very beginning. "He is very mysterious but at the same time, passionate. Yet, it’s an understated passion where he just has this knowingness of everything, while still being a little dark. He always has a little smirk on his face.That was fun to play. "

And while the show will feature the latest styles from Macys My Style Lab, one signature sartorial staple is noticeably absent. "There are no tights," Tyler says of his post-millennium Pan. "He does wear skinny jeans though, which are a good modern day update."
