Project Runway Recap: Head-To-Head Combat
Joshua McKinley -- In Top 3
Michael Kors: "I think the cut of the dress is fantastic. I love the chain detail on the side. … You've got the talent; you've just got to hold it in."
Nina Garcia: "It really works very well. You did it very nicely. I love the draping, I love that it looks very modern."
Francisco Costa: "You know what I find interesting is that the references are not literal because he didn't use … the colors of the bird but the exuberance is there and I think that shone through."
Meg Swertlow: Despite the Hitler hairstyle, the kid's got talent. Joshua seems to be learning (slowly) about an editing eye. I think Joshua did an excellent job at draping this vivacious dress (although I do think it looks a tad like a sack because it is not fitted at all). Also, I don't think the feathery corsage was necessary, and detracted from the sleekness of the gown. However, I think the side chain is a sexy add.
