Trespass marks a major reunion for star Nicole Kidman and director Joel Schumacher, who memorably worked together in 1995's Batman Forever. The last decade and a half has been invaluable for the actress, according to her close friend and director. "I think because Nicole was born so beautiful that in the beginning, people thought, 'Oh, she's Tom Cruise's wife.' But little by little, Nicole proved to you, me and the rest of the world what a fine actress she is.

"She's grown and gotten a lot of confidence within her own talent," Schumacher tells Insider.com. "You're never waiting for her performance and I have to say that she sets the bar so high that some of the less experienced members of my fabulous cast really stepped up to her level."
