Carey Mulligan's Hair Too Great for 'Drive'?

So I have a confession to make. I originally watched the uber-violent Drive to see hottie Ryan Gosling steam up the big screen, but surprisingly, I found it was something else other than Ryan's superb looks distracting me from all the blood and gore -- Carey Mulligan's amazing hair.

Although I've never been a fan of super-short cuts (sorry Even Rachel Wood, I'm still not sold), and really hated that whole pixie trend last year (Michelle Williams please grow your hair out!), I couldn't stop thinking about how great the Oscar-nominated actress looked with her chic bob long after the film was over. The face-framing cut somehow made her eyes bigger, her face more vulnerable. And while I'll be the first to admit I've never been the biggest fan of hers since she exploded after An Education, I found myself getting flashbacks of Audrey Tautou in Amelie. Too cute!

And while I didn't quite believe she was the run-down Denny's waitress she portrays in the film (hello, she has expensive highlights in her hair), honestly, I didn't really care. Her hair looks freaking fantastic -- and despite my serious case of hair envy, I wouldn't want it any other way.

So if you haven't seen Drive and have something against super-hot guys (seriously, who doesn't like Ryan Gosling?!), go see it for something else entirely -- Carey Mulligan's marvelous mane.
