Kanye West stopped by the Occupy Wall Street protest in NYC on Monday, lending his support to the growing movement against social and economic inequality and corporate greed.
And he did so in a $355 Givenchy shirt.
But hold off on calling Kanye a super douche for supporting a protest while wearing a shirt that in fact demonstrates economic inequality. It's unlikely that Kanye even thought about the insensitivity of his high-priced duds, and probably thought he was blending in with the common man by wearing a simple red plaid shirt.
Which perhaps is the biggest crime of all. If you're going to wear a $355 shirt, at least let it be cashmere, suede or some other bougie material. But red cotton plaid you can find for 20 bucks at Kmart?!
