Season 10 of "American Idol" went out with a bang. The finale was jam-packed with the "Idol"s performing with their own idols.
'Kung Fu Panda 2''s Jack Black jazzed things up with Casey Abrams, while winner Scotty McCreery got his country twang on with Tim McGraw. Other country sweethearts Lauren Alaina and former "Idol" champ Carrie Underwood teamed up their powerful voices.
Lady Gaga and Spiderman both took leaps of faith in their hair-raising performances. The air-borne superhero's high-flying act was without a hitch in the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live. The always sensational Lady Gaga finished things off with a real cliffhanger, leaping off "The Edge" with her backup dancer.
Judge Jennifer Lopez shook her signature asset during husband Marc Anthony's performance. The happily married couple ended the performance with a passionate kiss. Fellow judge Steven Tyler took the stage solo, sans his band Aerosmith, to win over the packed crowd.
This is just a small sampling of the spotlighted guests in the finale that surpassed the two hour mark. Watch the video for snippets from these standout performances. "American Idol" returns to Fox in January.
Fergie showed up at the 2011 FiFi Awards, which honors those that have given extraordinary contributions to the world of fragrance, giving her future baby plans to TheInsider.com's Nicole Dabeau.
"Yes, we are going to have children," said Fergie, who is married to actor Josh Duhamel. "But I am not pregnant."
Honorees for the ceremony in New York City included the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman, who accepted the Celeb Fragrance of the Year award, and Halle Berry, who was awarded the Fragrance of the Year award.
Kate Walsh dished that her fragrance, Boyfriend, was actually inspired "by a boyfriend."
"I feel like every gal should have a boyfriend, whether a real one is in the picture or not," the actress joked.
After kidding around with Kate, Nicole got emotional with Mary J. Blige, discussing Oprah's final show.
"She inspired me to the next level," said Mary. "She's really helped save a lot of people's lives ... I don't know what we're going to do now."
"American Idol" has gone country with Scotty McCreery winning the title over southern belle Lauren Alaina.
Host Ryan Seacrest announced at the beginning of the finale that a record number of votes were cast—over 122 million. The total amount of votes over the course of the season amounts to almost ¾ billion.
Fellow finalists smothered Scotty with hugs and kisses as he savored the moment. To celebrate, he ate the falling confetti at the end of his victory performance.

First, we see 'Twilight' star Taylor Lautner arriving to the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" studio in Los Angeles, surrounded by paparazzi and fans alike.
Back in NYC, cameras caught Justin Timberlake leaving his Southern Hospitality restaurant after a reported dinner with an Olsen twin last night.
Also in NYC yesterday, Ewan McGregor signed autographs as he arrived at the "Late Show with David Letterman" studio and Jack Black made a hasty entrance as he arrived to "Live with Regis and Kelly."
When graduating from college it's always interesting to see which celebrities that colleges are able to attract to serve as commencement speakers. Back on May 25, 1997, The Juilliard School had Superman himself, Christopher Reeve, address the graduating class.
Reeve, who had previously attended Juilliard before starting out on his acting career, was conferred with an honorary doctorate in front of the graduating class. Reeve then addressed the graduating class, with a speech that provided a strong message to the students to strive in the face of adversity and to create true art, not just what was commercially acceptable.
Check out the video to see more of Christopher Reeve's moving speech on this special day.
Oprah Winfrey's final episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" was not the star-studded mega event that her two hour 'Farewell Spectacular' was – rather, it was a subdued look back on what "The Oprah Winfrey Show" has accomplished in its 25 years on air, filled with words of wisdom from the legendary host herself.
Throughout the last episode of the show, Oprah repeatedly encouraged her audience to find their true passion in life, and to not let past hang-ups get the best of them.
"Nobody but you is responsible for your own life," she said sincerely.
She also looked back at some of the intense and startling revelations on her show where viewers, and on occasion celebrities, revealed their private heartaches and shame.
In particular, she flashed back to the episode featuring writer and director Tyler Perry, who talked about the severe sexual and physical abuse he suffered as a child. Oprah herself has said that she was sexually abused as a girl.
"Little by little we started to release the shame," Oprah said, as a compilation was aired showing audience members confessing everything from being a drug addict, to being repeatedly raped as a child.
She also spent a significant amount of airtime sharing her spiritual side.
"How were we able to last 25 years?," Oprah asked the audience rhetorically. "My team and Jesus. I have felt the presence of God my whole life. All of us have the same voice. Be still and know it. It's always there and speaking to you."
Most of all, she felt "grateful" at the chance to impact her millions of viewers' lives for 25 years.
"Gratitude is the single greatest treasure I will take from this experience," she said. "I thank you for the hours you shared with me and all that we've learned together. I am truly amazed that I, who started in rural Mississippi, could end up here. It's not coincidence that a lonely little girl who felt not a lot of love even though her parents and grandparents did the best they could, would grow up to feel the genuine kindness, trust and validation from all over the world. All of you, whose names I don't know – you and this show have been the great loves of my life."
After giving her email address (oprah@oprah.com) to the audience and viewers at home with a promise that all responses would in fact come directly from her, she ended with a simple message.
"I won't say goodbye, I'll just say until we meet again," Oprah said, in tears. "To God be the glory." The show credits rolled as she hugged longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham and shook hands with members of the audience, as well as went backstage to greet the hundreds of workers at "The Oprah Winfrey Show", many in tears as they hugged her. The show's last shot was Oprah picking up one of her beloved dogs, exclaiming, "We did it!"
After performing last night with injured vocal chords, "American Idol" finalist Lauren Alaina wasn't taking any chances with her voice as she and competitor Scotty McCreery fielded questions from the press. Rather than risking her voice, Lauren, with the help of Scotty, spoke to journalists via old-school pen and paper.
When asked about how they feel about their odds to win tonight, Lauren said (via Scott) that she felt that "being in the finale" with Scott makes her feel like she had "already won."
As far as the possibility of a post-"Idol" duet, Scotty said they've "talked about it a lot," adding "they'll see what the future holds."
Judge Steven Tyler says he didn't know about Lauren's vocal issue until right before the show, complimenting her for singing "her rear end off" despite the injury.
Fellow Judge Randy Jackson is glad she was able to "work her way through" her vocal problem to perform last night. He praised both Lauren and Scotty for "really stepping it up tonight" like "veteran performer[s]."
Watch the video to hear more from the "Idol" finalists and judges, and tune in to "American Idol" tonight on FOX to see who will win this season.
Two of the most popular boy bands of all time, New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys, have combined to put on one legendary tour for their faithful fans and we were there as they got ready the day before their first tour date.
The two bands shared one stage for the first time at the 2010 American Music Awards in November and AJ McLean called the crowd's reaction to that performance "the spark" that ignited the tour's launch.
The bands have gotten well acquainted as Donnie Wahlberg revealed, saying, "We know who's got the bad hygiene habits, whose gas is the worst … We kind of know a lot about each other now."
As if the news of NKOTB and BSB uniting wasn't enough, now "Glee" star Matthew Morrison will reportedly join the tour on July 6 in Anaheim, California and continue with the band through August 7 in London, Canada, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The new NKOTBSB tour kicks off Wednesday night at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. NKOTBSB's first single "Don't Turn Out the Lights" is available on iTunes.

With three extremely talented and popular couples making it to the "Dancing with the Stars" finals, it was anybody's guess as to who would take home the coveted mirror ball, but tonight Hines Ward nabbed a whole new kind of championship trophy, and The Insider's Christina McLarty was first in line to congratulate the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver on his "Dancing" touchdown.
Although it isn't quite a Lombardi, Ward treasures the mirror ball win just as he does any of his football achievements, telling Christina that his newly acquired statue has a spot "right next to [his] Super Bowl MVP trophies." He says the new trophy is a "dedication to all the hard work" Hines and partner Kym Johnson put into the competition.
When asked if he would pull out his new dance moves when he returns to the football field, he replied "no question," adding that every future touchdown he makes will be a "tribute to Kym."
Finalist Kirstie Alley credits dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy for getting as far as she did, although she admits she is disappointed they didn't take home the mirror ball trophy. She says she doesn't want to come off as a martyr, and wants people to see her competitive nature- that she simply wants to be seen as someone who just wants to win.
Watch the video to hear more from winners Hines and Kym, and the rest of the cast.

Steeler Nation rejoices! As season 12 champs, Hines Ward and Kym Johnson round out the dancing dozen to raise the mirror ball trophy high above their heads.
After the dramatic announcement, confetti showered the dance floor in celebration of the victory. "Starting this competition, I never thought I'd be in the finals, but I owe it all to Kym," he said with his signature champ. "She's an amazing teacher and I want to thank the judges for giving us the constructive criticism to help me get better each week, but also I want to thank all the fans."
Pro dancer Kym joins the ranks of Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, and Cheryl Burke as a multiple "Dancing With the Stars" champ. She previously won the mirror ball with Donny Osmond in season 9.
Kirstie Alley lost many dress sizes since entering the competition, but failed to gain the title with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, coming in second. She was undeniably a favorite among fans and fellow celebrities. Despite receiving high scores and praise from the judges, Disney darling Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas finished in third place.
Host Tom Bergeron announced that "Dancing With the Stars" will return to ABC in the fall on September 19.

The voting is now open! The youngest "American Idol" finalists ever (Scotty McCreery, 17, and Lauren Alaina, 16) lit up the stage at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Tuesday in their fight for the season 10 crown.
The two teens entered the stage holding hands, but they set their friendship aside once they touched the microphone.
"I'm here, I'm ready to sing and I'm fine," said Lauren, who had problems with her voice prior to the taping.
Lauren put all doubts aside when she blew away the judges with her rendition of Carrie Underwood's "Flat on the Floor," following Scotty's version of "Gone" by Montgomery Gentry.
In the second round, the contestants sang tunes recommended for them by their own music idols. George Straight chose his own song "Check Yes or No" for Scotty, while Lauren's hero Carrie Underwood picked Pam Tillis' "Maybe It Was Memphis" for the young songstress.
Round three unveiled the singles that would be released by either contestant if they win the "American Idol" title.
Scotty encapsulated his journey through the singing competition, belting out "I Love You This Big," while Lauren almost brought the crowd to tears with a tribute to her mom called "Like My Mother Does."
Season 7 winner David Cook closed the show by singing the '80s hit "Don't Forget About Me."
Tune in to "American Idol" on FOX tomorrow to see who will win this season.
Ashley Hebert, the newly minted "Bachelorette" stopped by The Insider to talk with our Christina McLarty about her experience on the show and whether or not she found love.
Christina was quick to notice a ring absent from Ashley's ring finger. "I'll tell you I am very happy with everything that happened. It was a crazy journey, but in the end I think I made some good decisions for me." With its premiere this past Monday we are just starting to meet the men competing for Ashley's affection, though she certainly had some things to say regarding certain notable standouts.
Having given the first-impression rose to Ryan P., Ashley "had a mindset of what I was looking for in a husband. I wanted somebody that was ambitious and somebody that was successful and had a zest for life and right off the bat Ryan was that guy." Jeff, also known as the man with the mask was also given a rose. "At first I was skeptical...people are going to wonder why I kept him around, but I thought it was different and I was interested."
Setting himself up to be the villain of the season, Bentley was given the benefit of the doubt. Even after being forewarned, "I vowed to myself that I was going to go into our conversation very open-minded and give him a shot." Not allowed to give too much away Ashley tells us that "it's a crazy journey with Bentley," and that "a lot of the things America is seeing, this is the first time I see it or hear of it." We can only assume that means we'll be seeing a lot more of Bentley and this "crazy journey."
Asked on a scale of 1-10 how dramatic we can expect the season to get, Ashley laughs, "I can only go up to 10?" So does she have any regrets with how things went on "The Bachelorette"? "I guess I have no regrets. No major regrets...yet." Take that as you will and be sure to tune in to see who Ashley chooses, and doesn't choose when "The Bachelorette" airs Monday, on ABC.

TheInsider.com has obtained footage of Arnold Schwarzenegger's alleged mistress Mildred "Patty" Baena singing onstage as she impersonates Marilyn Monroe's iconic version of "Happy Birthday, Mr. President."
The footage -- in which Baena smiles and laughs in between singing to the audience assembled for a party -- was taken the same day as Arnold, Maria Shriver and their children attended a quinceanera celebration for Baena's niece several years ago. Baena's performance onstage occurred at a different location than the church where earlier the Schwarzeneggers greeted the niece.
At the church, the families seemed comfortable as they enjoyed the celebration together, long before Arnold's shocking separation from Shriver and his confession that he'd fathered a child out of wedlock.

On this day in 1995, MTV gave us behind-the-scenes access to the taping of their dating game show, "Singled Out."
The show, which was originally hosted by Jenny McCarthy and Chris Hardwick, featured 50 men and 50 women who competed for a date with the main contestant. That same contestant, otherwise known as the "Picker," wasn't allowed any visible knowledge of their suitors and had to then single out his or her potential dates from the "Dating Pool" using various questions and comments.
The colorful hosts, Jenny and Chris, seemed right for the show that lasted three-years (1995-1998). During the last season, Jenny moved on to her own comedy series, "The Jenny McCarthy Show," and was replaced by Carmen Electra.
Check out the behind-the-scenes footage of the dating show and see what Jenny and Chris thought was the best part of the job as hosts!
With less than 24 hours left until the next Mirror Ball Trophy champion is to be crowned, The Insider's Christina McLarty caught up with the remaining teams as they ache and limp their way to the "Dancing" finish line.
Kym Johnson is still receiving care for her recent neck injury, but is grateful for partner Hines Ward who is often present to ease her discomfort by holding her hand during the frequent injections from the doctor.
Kirstie Alley tells Christina that partner Maksim has had food poisoning for the past couple of days, with Maks adding that it's been tough to dance at champion level with a diet consisting of crackers and ginger ale.
Mark Ballas is in the last stages of a cold, therefore Chelsea Kane is taking preventative measures which very often leaves the pair in a situation to which they must "watch each other get shots in the butt" to combat the virus. Although the joint syringe sessions aren't exactly ideal, Chelsea jokes that it made the pair "closer than ever."

"Maybe my mom," Ed Helms said at the movie's New York screening when asked who he'd want to be with him during the recovery stage following a crazy night out.
"Probably Bradley Cooper," said director Todd Phillips. "The other guys are total clowns - Bradley holds it together."
"I want the guys that were in the movie with me," Cooper said confidently. "They brought me through a lot of hard times."
