Erin Lucas, your music Insider, is back with another hot playlist to help you make it through the week! But what made her pick these particular songs? Check out her explanation to the left and then scroll down to listen to the jams that made the cut!

1. Lana Del Rey, Video Games
Words cannot describe how obsessed I am with this video. I watch it on the reg. Lizzy Grant - a.k.a. Lana Del Rey, is a 24-year-old New York native who recently relocated to London. Such a beautiful song. Look for it October 11th on 7". You know I pre-ordered the sh** out of it.

2. Fool's Gold, The Dive
I just saw these guys this past weekend at FYF Fest and they were so good! They've got a great "world music meets western pop" vibe. Native Israelis Luke Top and Lewis Pesacov started Fool's Gold in 2006. Since then they have solidified their lineup from an expansive collective into a condensed five-member band. This song is off their sophomore album, Leave No Trace, which was just released August 16th. They're touring now!

3. Purity Ring, Belispeak
I saw these guys as well at FYF Fest. They were playing the coolest instrument - it was like pipes with bulbs on the ends that lit up when you banged on them. Hard to describe really. Oh, and there was a gong. You can see what I'm talking about here! Singer Megan James' voice is just mesmerizing. They're touring right now with Neon Indian (off last week's playlist) and Yacht, check them out!

4. Future Islands, Balance
This music video is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen. It makes me want to throw away my daily comforts, fall crazy in love and live free. But then I remember my bed and my phone and the moment passes. Gerrit Welmers, William Cashion, Samuel T. Herring & Erick Murillo met at East Carolina University (go Pirates!). In 2006, Future Islands was born. This song is off their third album, On The Water, which will be released October 11th.

5. Girls, Honey Bunny
Saw these guys at FYF Fest too - love! Their mic stands were decorated with bouquets of lilies and roses. They were joined by the most amazing back-up singers. Full on doo-wop surf rock. Christopher Owens and Chet White formed Girls in San Fransisco in 2007. Weird fun fact: Owens is a former Children of God cult member. He was also a member of Holy S*** (with Ariel Pink). This is the second song off their album, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, due September 13th.

6. Ratatat, Kennedy
Ratatat will always have a place in my heart. They're one of my all-time favorite bands, and this is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I've seen them play a million times and they're always so good. Brooklyn boys Mike Stroud and Evan Mast released their debut album in 2004. This song is off their 2006 album, Classics.
