Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stepped out in L.A. on Monday night for the premiere of Katie's new miniseries, "The Kennedys."
Katie plays beloved First Lady Jackie Kennedy in the ReelzChannel miniseries, and she said taking on such a lauded historical figure was a tall order: "As exciting as it was, it was daunting because she was loved by so many. You walk into a situation trying your best, but everyone has their idea of who she was and so you're never going to please everyone, so once I got kind of past that then I felt free to create this character."
She said that donning the wardrobe of Jackie's iconic style every day was "really a lot of fun" and said that between wardrobe, hair and makeup, "Once you walked out of the trailer, you felt different, because you had been transformed."
Greg Kinnear, who co-stars as former President John F. Kennedy, also stepped out for the premiere of the miniseries, which will debut April 3 on ReelzChannel.
The cable channel picked up the show after it was announced earlier this year that the History Channel had dropped the show. An A&E rep explained to "The Insider," "While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand. We recognize historical fiction is an important medium for storytelling and commend all the hard work and passion that has gone into the making of the series, but ultimately deem this as the right programming decision for our network."

Kirstie Alley may not have completely buried the hatchet! Kirstie accepted George Lopez's apology for making jokes last week implying that she was a pig, but the "Dancing with the Stars" contestant had some choice words for Lopez following her performance on Monday night's show.
"He's a b**** but whatever," Kirstie told Entertainment Tonight. On March 25, Kirstie tweeted, "[George Lopez] I don't need or want your apology...I want your kidney dude..on behalf of your ex and all the women you've insulted...give it back," before publically accepting the comedian's apology.
In 2005, George Lopez underwent a kidney transplant with his estranged wife Ann as the donor. The couple filed for divorce in 2010.
"My whole kitchen is filled with flowers," Kirstie told "The Insider" correspondent Christina McLarty, revealing how far the late-night host has gone in an attempt to win her approval.
Be sure to watch an all-new "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday on ABC.
How did your faves rank on the "Dancing with the Stars" scoreboard tonight?
Here's the "Dancing with the Stars" scoreboard for season 12 so far! Judges' scores and viewers votes from the first two weeks of competition will be added together to determine which pair will be eliminated on Tuesday night. Although three contestants scored higher than him this week, Ralph Macchio remains the overall leader. The bottom of the scoreboard remains unchanged as well, with Mike Catherwood holding on to the lowest rank.

After last night's season high ratings, Donald Trump took time to talk about the latest episode of "Celebrity Apprentice" and its surprising influence in the media.
"Well I'm amazed at how much press this is getting," the real estate mogul said. "People are finding the show fascinating, that's why the ratings are so good but I'm amazed at how the press is covering it because they can't get enough of the show."
Donald also spoke on his decision to fire the latest contestant, Dionne Warwick. "She had attitude, she had a lot of things going," Donald affirmed. "Boy she had attitude and the other women on the show really couldn't stand her, they couldn't take her any longer and they really went against her."
When confronted with whether or not the drama will stop on the show, the Donald resounded with a less than subtle hint. "Well what happens in the next four weeks is the most incredible scenes I've ever seen on television or reality television in terms of fights and craziness."
Check out the video to hear more from the Donald and tune into "Celebrity Apprentice" Sundays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
From Los Angeles to Miami! Paris Hilton connects via telephone to Lil Wayne for Interview Magazine’s April issue.
Hilton and Wayne met at a Grammy Party he threw in Los Angeles (Hilton hosted the event). The rapper tells Hilton he loves being the so-called new King of Hip-Hop. "I guess if that brings forth pressure, then I'm up for it...As long as people remember me forever that will be enough for me."
Wayne tells her he makes music for his fans. And when asked about rap lyrics often being about money, sex and violence, the rapper adds, "Music is a reflection of who you are, and if those things that you mentioned are what your music is all about, then I guess that's who you are."
Wayne says he gained inspiration from the record company he was with from the beginning and still with today. "He says, Cash Money Records...they were pretty big locally in New Orleans and so I always looked up to them."
He dishes to the socialite about working with newfound rapper, Drake. "I already knew that he had potential beyond my imagination, because the kid was singing and rapping-and he was rapping real well," Wayne explains. He adds that the rapper would have been successful with or without him. His advice for Drake, "...stay humble and remember who you are throughout it all, because there's gonna be moments in every single day when you'll have to go back to that person and reflect on that person."
Hilton & Wayne go on to discuss their experiences behind bars, both having been in solitary confinement. Hilton adds, "I had to spend 24 nights in solitary confinement...I know how it is." They both agree that being released from custody was a great feeling. Wayne says, "Words cannot express." Hilton adds, "It's the best feeling in the world when you come out."
While Wayne says he does not Google himself, he did add that he used to be on Twitter. "I Once it got hacked I had Twitter fix it. They changed it. And then it got hacked again so I just shut it down. As of right now, I'm on Twitter strike," Wayne explained.
Lil Wayne will be taking over Interview Magazine’s website this week from March 28th – March 30th, providing his own exclusive content for the website. Check out the full interview in the April issue of Interview Magazine.

From NYC to LA, see where the stars are on this edition of GPS!
With her hat pulled down and bodyguard close by, Sandra Bullock leaves her Soho, NY apartment to head to the 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' movie set.
In Brooklyn, Sandra's co-star Tom Hanks is surrounded by security and assistants as he walks to the 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' set.
Kris Jenner co-hosted the "Today" show at Rockefeller Center, and we caught the famous mom as she left the studio.
And over in Los Angeles, stars such as Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore with new squeeze Will Kopelman and 'Maroon 5' singer Adam Levine (with his grandma!) hit up the Staples Center to catch the Lakers game, while 'Sucker Punch' star Vanessa Hudgens was at Trousdale in West Hollywood.
The stars turned out in droves on Saturday night for Perez Hilton's Blue Ball celebrating his 33rd birthday at Siren Studios in Hollywood.
Showing up wearing a brown afro wig and a fringe covered outfit, Perez says that his outfit was, "inspired by Elvis and Liberace. In other words, fierce and fabulous."
Not just content with enjoying his birthday, Perez was glad to be able to use his party for a special cause. "I've been able to use my birthday as an opportunity to raise awareness and money for GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network," Perez says. "I really want to raise awareness for them and raise money because I want to try to save lives, and have a party and do it all."
Also in attendance to celebrate Perez's birthday were "Dancing with the Stars" pros Lacey Schwimmer, Cheryl Burke, Kym Johnson, Karina Smirnoff, model Joanna Krupa, "The Big Bang Theory"'s Mayim Bialik, and "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
Do the "Dancing with the Stars" judges get along, or is there dissension in the ranks? Which judge gets so nervous that they've gotten sick right before the show started? Which of the two is "like an old married couple"?
Hear a few secrets from the judges themselves -- Carrie AnneInaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli -- as we time warp back to their early "Dancing with the Stars" interviews!
"Dancing with the Stars" contestant Romeo and partner Chelsie Hightower hit the dance studio to rehearse for their next dance. With their first dance, and butterflies, out of the way, Romeo finds the similarities in doing anything for the first time.
"That first dance, I feel great right now," the former USC basketball player said. "It's like playing that first big basketball game. That first game is always the most pressure and it drives you crazy and it just feels good to let this dance out and move on to the next one."
The pair's next dance will be the Quickstep and Romeo did his best to sum it up in two words. "It's fast, that's all I'm going to say."
Chelsie elaborated more on what to expect on the next episode and alluded to a strategy they have for the judges. "It's going to be fun," she proclaimed. "We have a really fun theme this week and I'm really trying to get him involved and wrapped up in the character and the technique obviously to please Bruno [Tonioli]."
When pushed about revealing the theme, Romeo and Chelsie gave nothing away but a tiny morsel for people to think about. "All I'm going to tell you is I'm going to do something very special for a special lady."
Watch our video for more and catch an all-new "DWTS" tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
It's time to jump back 21 years to March 28, 1990 when Audrey Hepburn appeared at a gala hosted by UNICEF honoring her efforts with the relief group.
When asked if she thought the organization was old, Hepburn responded, "Old? All the better! They have 45 years of experience and they're going strong in 120 countries. I wish I could take those people with me and see what we're doing."
Speaking on the work UNICEF has done, Hepburn was quick to remind that "Where there was no water, there is water today. Where there was no health care, children are being vaccinated."
