Rewind: 'CSI: NY' and 'CSI: Miami' Team Up

Out of all of the police procedural dramas that have sprung up, one in particular has really worked its way into my weekly television watching schedule: CSI: Miami.

I have to admit that I’ve even grown slightly attached to CSI: NY too, but it's David Caruso's witty one liners that end every opening sequence and his tough guy attitude when taking down perps that keeps me coming back to CSI: Miami.

So why wouldn't I be excited to find footage from an episode that was being filmed on September 23, 2005, which teamed up the casts of both shows for a two-hour special CSI crossover?

David Caruso, Gary Sinise and Melina Kanakaredes were all on set that day filming the second half of the special which saw the teams start in Miami and wrap up their investigation in New York for the thrilling finale.
