'Walking Dead' Stars Preview 'Bloody' Season
Unlike its voracious villains, The Walking Dead burst out of the gate in season one with a speed rarely seen on cable. And in only six episodes, the AMC series amassed an incredibly devoted fan base. But this short run also left America ravenous for more.
Thankfully, Sunday serves up a heftier meal as the first of 13 episodes premieres, finally satiating our collective need for intense family drama amid a global zombie pandemic.
I caught up with the cast at their LA premiere to find out what you can expect from this sublime second season. From the sound of it, you might want to keep a trashcan on hand since the gore quotient was seriously ramped up this year!
The Walking Dead premieres October 16 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
