But when it was unclear to creator Patrick Sean Smith if the show would come back for a final season, he created a flash-forward wrap-up scene "just in case" --  in it, the action jumps to Rusty's college graduation and shows us all where the gang ended up two years later.

While you should just press play and not let me spoil any of the fun relationship reveals (Rebecca and Beaver?!?!), I must say that the only misstep this amazingly underrated ABC Family series made was not opting for this superior ending. Click here to watch!
