Conan Officiates TV's First Same-Sex Wedding
Conan O'Brien is celebrating his one year anniversary at TBS this week and on last night's show, he created another anniversary date by officiating the wedding of longtime costume designer Scott Cronick and his partner David Gorshein.
The first-ever on-air same-sex wedding took place on the stage at New York City's Beacon Theatre, in front of a rapt crowd of strangers, a few family members and Bravo's Andy Cohen, who walked Scott down the makeshift aisle.
And while there was spectacle for days, hearing Scott and David recite their vows drove home what a truly genuine moment this was for them. And by extension, us.
