Lisa Vanderpump Dishes on George Clooney Crush

Just in time for holiday entertaining, Lisa Vanderpump is the latest of the women from the Real Housewives franchise to publish a cook book. As owner of popular Los Angeles restaurants Villa Blanca and Sur, the restaurateur's kitchen credentials cannot be disputed. The Bravolebrity found her way to The Insider's Kevin Frazier's "heart through his tummy" when they sat down for a meal at her West Hollywood eatery.
Lisa shared the secret ingredient to her 30 year marriage to husband Ken. Whipping up a good meal "is better than lingerie," the dutiful housewife insisted. However, Lisa admitted to having a bit of a wandering eye when it comes to Hollywood's most eligible bachelor. She gushed about wanting to host a dinner for Bill Clinton, Lionel Richie, and wait for it…George Clooney. She teased that "as soon as he comes to his senses, I'm leaving my husband!"
"Written from the heart," Lisa's book Simply Divine is a "labor of love. I put my passion on the page." Her signature shepherd's pie is better one day after cooking it. "Like wine, it kind of matures," she prophesied. And she should know. The Vanderpumps are also wine connoisseurs, featuring their own bottles of vino. They're especially proud of their rosé.
Another tip to throw a dinner party without a hitch? "Don't invite the psychic," she joked in reference to a now-famous and controversial Housewives scene. Lesson learned.

Between juggling the cookbook, Housewives, two bustling businesses, and downsizing from her palatial mansion, Lisa is looking forward to one more role to add to her resume…that of grandmother. Daughter Pandora recently tied the knot and now the empty-nester is anxiously awaiting the pitter-patter of little feet. While many women are self-conscious about acquiring the title, Lisa said, "I've been called everything in the last year and a half, so Grandma would be a compliment." The term holds a special place in Lisa's heart, as her very own grandmother was the inspiration behind many of the recipes found in Simply Divine.

Kevin cleared his plate, but there were still leftovers. Wonder if Lisa took home a doggy bag for Giggy? Simply Divine is fully stocked with about 100 recipes and hits store shelves on November 9. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Monday nights on Bravo.
