Watch Sam's 'Glee' Return!
On Tuesday, both Chord Overstreet and his ab-tacular character Sam, return to Glee in the episode Hold on to Sixteen.
"Finn and Rachel are looking for somebody to help them with sectionals, so they bring [Sam] back to school," Chord tells EW. "He tries to kind of pick everything back up where he left off and he realizes that everything has changed a little bit since he’s gone. He has to kind of re-adapt a little bit."
That includes dealing with the fact his ex-girlfriend Mercedes has a new boyfriend. Yea, remember that 4-second plotline from last year's finale that was dropped faster Dijon Talton? "They address what happened [between them] last summer," Chord teases.
Also up for debate: Sam's new career as a male stripper. Truth.
To help tease the outing, Fox has released a pair of musical sneak peeks. First up (literally, look up) is Sam's performance of Red Solo Cup that left me making faces just like Kurt does throughout the performance.
The real attraction here is The Troubletones Sectionals performance of Survivor/I Will Survive. It's on fire.
Honestly, I don't know how New Directions can beat that.
