Paris Jackson on the Best Advice from Her Dad

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris chatted with Ellen DeGeneres for her first solo interview, which is set to air on Thursday. During the sit-down, Paris covered everything from why she had to wear masks growing up to the best advice her dad ever gave her.

Although she was born as one of the most famous kids in the world, no one knew what Paris looked like when she was a young child because her father famously didn't let his children out in public without their faces covered. Paris admitted that at the time she didn't like the idea, but later appreciated the measures that Michael took to guard her privacy.

"When I came to Buckley (her school) they didn't know who I was," said Paris. "I was like, 'Yes, I have a chance to be normal.'"

Paris' face will likely get much more recognizable now as she is pursuing an acting career. The 13 year old recently landed her debut feature film role in the upcoming animated film Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys.

Paris credited her dad for inspiring her career choice.

"My dad was in the movie Moonwalker and I knew he could sing really well but I didn't know he could act," Paris explained. "I saw that and I said, 'Wow, I want to be just like him.'"

Although she lost her father at a very young age, Paris revealed that his words still play a significant role in her life. Ellen leaned in as Paris described the best advice her dad gave her: "He said, 'If I die tomorrow always remember what I told you.' I took his advice and I remembered everything he told me."
