Despite scoring a prime spot on Barbara Walters' annual "Most Fascinating People" list, the Kardashians don't seem to have earned their trust with the legendary journalist.

Stopping by The Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote her special airing Wednesday, Barbara detailed her experience with the reality TV heavyweights.

"They were the first ones we interviewed and we did them in September," said Walters, explaining the Kardashian clan had been asked if anything crazy would happen between then and the December airing, to which they said "'No no no, you can do it now because nothing's going to happen." And we all know how that one ends...

Barbara laments: "Kim gets married, then Kourtney gets pregnant, then Khloe's moving to Dallas! You cannot trust the Kardashians."
