As you can tell from the wide range of shows that have been dubbed "The Best" by TheInsider.com, this year was a TV triumph across all genres – from sitcoms to dramas to fantastical sci-fi adventures that span the centuries.

My round-up could have been three times as long, but decisions needed to be made, so it is with condolences to a handful of runners up – The Good Wife, 30 Rock, Revenge, Modern Family, Community, Shameless, New Girl, Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes, Work of Art – that I present to you my list of The 11 Best TV Shows of 2011!
