After four seasons that have run concurrently in their timeline, AMC's meth-making drama has chronicled the rise and fall (and rise and fall) that come from learning the hard way that one's ego is the most addictive drug of all.

Finding Walt's inner ferocity led actor Bryan Cranston to deliver one of the year's most raw performances, but in season four, it was co-star (and Best Supporting Actor Emmy winner) Aaron Paul who truly shined.

Watching Jesse lose it all (his money, his confidence, his mind) proved to be a winning way to spend the season. And who could forget that explosive jaw-dropping (and erasing) special effect from the season four finale?!?
