Roger Bart (Desperate Housewives) joins the Revenge cast as Mason Treadwell -- a biographer who wrote the definitive book on David Clarke, and may or may not be an ally in Emily's quest for revenge.

That ambiguity is on full display in a trio of new clips that introduce you to Mason, reveal his shared past with a young Emily and hint at the ever-growing role Victoria played in Emily's incarceration.

Revenge airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
