Water, and boats and worms, oh my! The girls are back from Caleb's surprise party and Hanna is recovering from her swim in the lake. Little does Hanna know that "A" left a little surprise in her purse -- lake water that she takes a big swig of while taking aspirin. Hanna breaks the news to the girls that Lucas was the one who destroyed Alison's memorial and now they feel he's more suspicious than ever.

The liars find a clue that leads Spencer and Aria to Philadelphia. After Aria had to leave to head back to Rosewood for her date, Spencer gets a little curious when she sees multiple blind people all walking in the same direction -- so why not follow them? She stumbles upon Jenna's blind school that happens to have a very uptight secretary. It turns out that a current resident of the school knows Jenna, so Spencer sits down with him for a chat. She finds out that Jenna is actually a civil human being (obviously, only to fellow blind people) and that she is very handy, teaching people how to distinguish real from fake sugar and how to read a pulse. Eventually, Spencer escapes with a log-in book from the school and this helpful item only leads to more questions.

Hanna's still concerned about Lucas's whereabouts and she still doesn't tell Caleb the truth about the boat incident at his party. Her mind is racing about Lucas and Caleb, and Mona is just adding to her stress by asking Hanna to listen to her concerns about her relationship with Noel. Well, it turns out that Noel broke up with Mona and we learn that she doesn't wear sweater sets or blends. Poor Mona -- and I actually say that sympathetically.

Aria has a date with Holden and it just so happens that it's at the same event Ezra is scheduled to attend that same night. Of course, Aria sees Ezra (in slow motion) at the event and she's distracted for the rest of the night. Aria feels bad that she isn't paying much attention to Holden, but shockingly, he agrees to help her. Yes, it seems that Holden is volunteering to help Aria see Ezra by being her alibi.

Meanwhile, in other couples news, Maya is getting suspicious text messages and Emily is concerned. With Emily's history with texts, can you blame her? Come to find out, Maya hooked up with someone while she was away. Surprisingly, Emily seems okay with this information -- until she finds out that Maya hooked up with a guy!

This episode answered a lot of questions, but it asked a lot of questions as well. Lucas apparently wasn't trying to hurt Hanna; he just wanted to confess that he gambled away a lot of Caleb's money. The liars also find out that Garrett checked Jenna out of the blind school before the day of Alison's funeral (when she was supposedly released). That leads them to wonder: where was Jenna the night Ali went missing?
