Things are getting vocally serious on The Voice as the contestants compete head to head in "battle rounds" that take place on what looks like a giant lit-up boxing ring.
Despite the raw competition of pitting two team members against each other with only one singer advancing to the live shows, the battle rounds are quite the spectacle for the audience as the two singers belt their hearts out and occasionally join in harmony.
In the featured sneak peek of The Voice's upcoming episode, Angie and Cheesa from Team Cee Lo take turns with their renditions of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and Team Christina's Anthony and Jesse hit the high notes for Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You."
