Hot on the heels of Whitney Houston/Stevie Wonder and "oldies", American Idol's Top 10 were given yet another hurdle in week three: The Songs of Billy Joel. And as Steven Tyler astutely observed in the opening moments, If you can't sing Billy Joel, you can't sing at all.

So, ya know, no pressure.

Luckily for the contestants, Billy's iconic tunes were unexpectedly malleable to most of their styles -- from emo to country to rock to soul, his oeuvre was able to seamlessly genre jump with a few key changes. Speaking of changes, Tommy Hilfiger lent his styling expertise to the competition and gave one contestant a Top Model-worthy makeover.
