In 2009, The CW launched a Melrose Place reboot that lacked the sizzle, scandal and smarts of its predecessor. Although we must be grateful the network tried to revive that property because I suspect without that brief gasp of life, we wouldn't have been gifted with The L.A. Complex -- a Canadian drama revolving around six dreamers trying to make it in Hollywood.
