The Insider recently caught up with Pauly D and his BFFs to talk about The Pauly D Project, the highly anticipated Jersey Shore spinoff focusing on the fan favorite's personal life away from Seaside Heights and his hard-fought transition from famous housemate to respected DJ.
"You get to see me outside of Jersey Shore," Pauly D stresses about the new show. "Because everyone knows me partying in Jersey Shore with strangers that became my good friends, but now instead of that, you get to see me -- where I come from -- and meet my family. You get to meet my friends, and then you get to see what we do on a day-to-day basis as a touring DJ."

Though he reveals that aside from Vinny, no other Jersey Shore cast mates will make an appearance on the spinoff, he does confirm that the new season of Jersey Shore will bring back all eight of the cast members -- pregnant Snooki and all.
Pregnant Snooki Can't Wait to Be a MILF
"I feel like we're all having this baby and she's a part of our family," he says about an expectant Snooki. "So it's like the first baby for Jersey Shore, so I'm excited for that."
But will some of the show's more baby-unfriendly elements have to be changed?
"If she's in the house, we need a nursery so, move over smush room," he laughs. "We're gonna clean it first ... that baby might have been made in that room," he jokes.
