'Desperate Housewives' Finale Scoop

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry has said that his vision for the series finale has been in place since day one. "The last act, which I've had in my head for seven and a half years, is absolutely what we're going to do," Cherry revealed in January, and now a portion of his plan has been revealed.

On-set snaps from the finale filming yesterday reveal Felicity Huffman's Lynette dressed up as an old lady (and a grandmother to boot!), allowing me to make the logic leap that the series finale will feature a time leap.

This tactic has been utilized by many a series heading into that great TV graveyard in the sky, but all will be compared to Six Feet Under, which served up the best fast-forwarded finale to date in 2005. Until we can learn the fates of Susan, Gabrielle and Bree in the two-hour May 13 series finale, relive the death of every Fisher.
