Ferns producer Scott Aukerman announced over the weekend on his Comedy Bang Bang podcast that a special 30-minute version of the chat show, called Between Two Ferns: A Fairy Tale of New York, will air right before this year's Comedy Awards. Tina Fey, Jon Stewart and Sir Richard Branson are all interviewed in the special episode.

Between Two Ferns has appeared intermittently on Funny or Die with guests ranging from Sean Penn and Steve Carell to Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell, Bruce Willis, Jennifer Aniston and Tila Tequila. The intentionally low-budget show's running joke finds Galifianakis unwittingly -- or intentionally -- insulting his guests, creating incredibly awkward moments.
