'Glee' vs. 'Smash' - Which 'Shake' Was Better?

Before Smash premiered, Glee was uncontested when it came to covering current songs on the small screen. But for the first time (although certainly not the last, since pop songs that are capable of conveying a character's innermost thoughts and feelings are oh-so-rare) McKinley's students tackled a track that had already been performed weeks earlier on Smash.

In order to make Coach Beiste feel better about being a battered wife, Santana, Tina, Brittany and Sugar sang a stripped down version of Florence + The Machine's Shake It Out on last night's episode.

Almost an entire month earlier, Karen tackled the same song when she filled in for Ivy at a Bar Mitzvah (that was clearly created by a set designer who had never actually attended one).
