Before Amanda Clarke life swapped with Emily Thorne she returned to the town that royally screwed her over and Wednesday's all-new Revenge flashes back to 2002 in order to show fans where her roadmap truly began.

And as you can see in this sneak peek clip, we have Nolan to thank for pointing Emily down this path.

I don't know what's more shocking: Emily's super surly demeanor or Nolan's lack of multiple collars ... or any collar for that matter -- hellooooo v-neck!

Revenge airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
