What a difference three years can make! In the video, Lea Michele, Diana Agron, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith could genuinely pass for high school freshmen as they gushed over how proud they were of the work they'd done on the show up until that point. And with good reason, as we all can now attest to.
When asked, many of the actors agreed that Somebody to Love by Queen was their favorite number to perform. Jenna Ushkowitz explained, "Somebody to Love was the first time that I feel like we all kind of bonded together as a group ..."
Jessalyn Gilsig said that the show's creator Ryan Murphy is "sort of the iPod of the show." The actors are welcome to make suggestions. Cory Monteith said, "The way we suggest songs is very organic. We're basically caught singing around the set. Like we have down time and we'll be singing a song that we like and then Ryan Murphy will write it into the show."
