Some might imagine that the stars of E!'s new reality series Mrs. Eastwood & Co.—starring Clint Eastwood's wife Dina Eastwood, her South African band and young daughters—would like to put as much distance as they can from comparisons to the Kardashians, but as it turns out, the Eastwoods are just as enamored with TV's reigning reality family as the rest of America.

"We have the same family dynamic appeal that the Kardashians have but it's also different enough to not be in competition with the show," Francesca Eastwood tells The Insider of their show, premiering on May 20, after KUWTK.

Their series will give viewers an inside look into the lives of "Hollywood royalty" by following Clint Eastwood's wife, Dina, and their daughters Francesca, 18 and Morgan, 15.

"We're so honored to be able to be in [the Kardashians] wake, literally, in the spot right after them. But it will be quite a juxtaposition of lives. Trust me."

As for Kardashian-style khaos, that's where Dina says she draws the line. "That's not going to be what our show's based on….We're not going for the big drama thing...No television show is worth losing your family over, ever, and its not even dragging your drama out 'to be continued next season,' that's just not how we roll."

Earlier this year Clint Eastwood, who will reportedly make guest appearances on the show, revealed he was delighted the series was picked up. "I'm really proud of my family," he said "They are a constant source of inspiration and entertainment."
