In light of Bethenny Frankel's new talk show premiering on June 11, Ellen DeGeneres gave the reality star a few useful tips for finding success on daytime TV.

"My advice to you is to be yourself," Ellen said in the interview airing Tuesday, May 29. "Not be what you think a talk show host should be or what you've seen a talk show host be because the way that you're going to be successful is by being someone that they haven't seen before. You don't want to try and copy a format."

Bethenny's self-titled show is set to broadcast on select FOX owned and operated stations, including New York and Los Angeles.

Last month during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Bethenny revealed that her dream guest would be Martha Stewart, although she isn't confident that Martha would accept her invitation. Prior to her stint on The Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny acted as a contestant on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.
