Concerns over Britney Spears' health were raised again Monday, when she "stormed off the set" during The X Factor's Greensboro, N.C. auditions after a man dressed in drag performed her classic hit (You Drive Me) Crazy. According to People.com, a "stunned" Britney walked out, quickly followed by fellow judges Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid.
But according to the pop star herself, she was just "following" Demi's lead.
"I was following her," Britney said in a new Fox interview, pointing to Demi. "I was just following her lead. She was like, 'Let's go' and I was like, "OK." It was our break anyway, it was dinner, so ... "
"But I was just really uncomfortable, like Oh my God, he's on the floor crying because he thinks he's done such a good job and I felt so bad," Demi added. "I laughed at first, but then I felt really bad."
"We just couldn't take it anymore, but you know, Simon has a little more tolerance, more patience than we do, so we all walked and we kinda let Simon handle it himself," L.A. commented.
But though they're obviously downplaying the incident, why does Britney looks increasingly uncomfortable throughout the course of the interview?
.... And just because it's your "break," does that justify walking out of an audition?
