The Bachelorette is now down to its final episode, which means that Emily has some decision-making to do—and some very important decision-making at that.

However, before she chooses her potential mate, Arie and Jef meet up with Emily's father to ask for his blessing on their potential marriage with Emily if she chooses them to propose to her.

As we see in the featured clip of the finale, it's a daunting task for Arie as he presents his case to Emily's father that he is a worthy mate for his daughter, but he carries on and makes his speech.

"At the beginning, this was very carefree and fun but then you get to that point where you couldn't imagine losing her," Arie starts, "and I can't imagine losing Emily. She's the love of my life and I'll try anything I can to never lose her. So, I would ask you—if I have your blessing—if I could ask Emily to marry me."
