It's official, the vampire craze isn't going away anytime soon.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is poised to become your newest blood-sucking obsession as NBC announced today they're throwing their hat into the supernatural ring with a twist on Bram Stoker's classic, Dracula.
"In the world of Twilight and True Blood and all the contemporized stories, we thought we'd go back to the original," said NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt during the TCA Press tour today in Los Angeles.

Brought to you by the producers of Downton Abbey, the story centers upon Dracula's arrival in London during the Victorian age. With his sights set on destroying those who made him the monster he is, the vengeful vamp stumbles upon a woman who bears a striking resemblance to his wife.
