The former Will & Grace star just announced that he would reuniting with Debra Messing when he joins season two as Terrence Falls, a comedic television and film star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical Liaisons, based on Les Liaisons Dangereuses. "I'm very excited to be guest-starring in a multi-episode arc on @NBCSmash this season. Back to Broadway…sort of," he Tweeted.

In addition, Terrence will, through a series of comic circumstances, become a major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn. Looks like somebody fancies himself the new Ellis!

Smash returns to NBC in 2013.
