Man, they're dropping like flies!
Following on the heels of Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and, reportedly, Jason Sudeikis, TheInsider.com has confirmed that Saturday Night Live castmember Abby Elliott will not be returning for the upcoming 38th season (first reported by Splitsider).

Although NBC declined comment on the status of the cast, it should come as no surprise to longtime fans that Abby is leaving the show since her screentime was scant, to say the least, and she never developed a popular character despite remaining on the show for four seasons.

Some pointed to her relationship with SNL star Fred Armisen as the reason she was kept around longer, while other Not Ready For Primetime Players were let go (yes, we're still smarting over Michaela Watkins' 2009 axing).
