As continuously seen on Hoarding: Buried Alive, compulsive hoarding can be a serious problem not only for the hoarder but their family and friends. As we seen in TheInsider.com's sneak peek of Hoarding's upcoming episode, it also can create mimicry.

Most young children are highly impressionable and look to their parents as role models, and we see in the featured clip that hoarding is no different, as a hoarder's young daughter begins to replicate her bad habits.

"I'm very concerned for my youngest niece. Something needs to be done," the girl's aunt says in an interview. "She has a lot of my sister's mental issues that she copies, be it mimicking or psychological, I'm not sure."

As the girl gives the camera crew a tour of her room, she begins to realize the disgust of the clutter that she has stockpiled in her room, among which is rotten food that she hid because she didn't want to eat it.

"I'm kind of scared that I'm going to turn into a hoarder," the girl says. "After like three years of seeing that [from my mom], I kind of hope that I can get rid of stuff and that I can clean the house when I'm older."

Hoarding: Buried Alive airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
