'White Collar' Gets Bloody - Exclusive!
"Difficult." That's how Tim DeKay described filming an arduous boxing match featured in Tuesday's all-new episode of White Collar.
"[Matt Bomer and I] spent an entire day at Gleason's gym going over the choreography," Tim tells TheInsider.com of the preparation, which paled in comparison to the intensity of actually shooting the match. "They're very difficult to film, especially when there's dialogue in between. You have to be in great shape to box and we filmed that scene 25 times, at least."
As Tim first told me back in June when I visited the set, the brawl takes place as Neal and Peter are working on a case that ends up involving a secret boxing society. But their well-choreographed match, designed to entrap a shady businessman, takes a turn towards the unpredictable when Neal learns about a controversial choice Peter made and that causes the con man to go off script and throw some real haymakers!
Who will be the last man standing? Tune in to White Collar this Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on USA to find out, but in the meantime, check out TheInsider.com's exclusive sneak peek of the (shirtless) stars stepping into the ring!
